I weigh myself every Monday, except for today. I wanted to see the damage done from the holiday.

Mornin'!

Karen - you must be headed north - northern IL is supposed to get hit today. We're up here on the northern edge of the storm (in southern WI), but now they're saying we'll only get about an inch. Thank God.

Meeting a friend in about an hour for a yoga class. Not much else on the agenda today other than making turkey stock out of the turkey bones.

accountability was good yesterday up until we went to the hockey game. DH got popcorn again, so I indulged. I HAVE to watch it the next few days as I'm still over 150 lbs (my limit). I cannot lose control of this!!

QOTD: here's one. If you had to move and could move anywhere, what would be your top choice? I love where I live (Madison, WI) and can't imagine ever leaving here, but if I had to, I'd probably move to Evanston, IL. It has a similar vibe, yet you can hop on the El train and be in downtown Chicago in a half hour. (Cambridge, Massachusetts would also be near the top of my list for the same reasons, although I'm not sure we could afford to live there)

3 years 5 months out:

B: homemade Greek yogurt with homemade raspberry sauce

MS: coffee with half & half, protein shake

L: TJ's grilled chili lime chicken strips

AS: either carbmaster yogurt or a piece of protein pumpkin pie

D: turkey, 2 T sweet potatoes (or maybe turkey gumbo if I have the energy to make it!)

ex: yoga

whoops - looks like someone else posted a QOTD while I was typing, so I'll answer that one, too. It's easy - we don't decorate for the holidays. We used to, but after two years of trying to keep decorations in tact while having cats in the house, we gave up!

We're in Chatham just south of Springfield Il but so far we've just had rain.

QOTD we don't decorate but used to when the boys were small. Now we have two cats and a dog who would wreck any tree we put up!

Good morning, all. Great pictures Cassie. We are supposed to get as much as a foot of snow tonight and into tomorrow. We got notification from our office to take public transportation tomorrow, but if we do get that much snow I am definitely telecommuting. My daughter flies back to college at three, so hopefully she is able to take off before the snow starts.

I weigh in weekly on Sunday morning. I stayed exactly the same this week. It was the first time since surgery that I didn't go down. I'm not sure whether it is a normal stall or the holiday festivities but in any case I will be cracking down this week as well.

QOTD: We will put up our Christmas tree in two weeks when my daughter is back for the semester break. The service that did our outdoor lights offered a discount if they could install before Thanksgiving so we did that.

Breakfast: Omlette

Lunch: leftover steak and asparagus

Snack: Protein bar

Dinner: Chili

Have a great day all.
