Good Morning All,

Went to support group last night and it was really good. The topic was exercise, so that was helpful especially since I don't always know what I am doing in the gym. Speaking of the gym, I am getting ready to head there in a few minutes. I am going to take advantage of every single minute while being off for the next 5 days.

QOTD: Are you a ham, or turkey person for holidays? I like turkey although my mom roasts it in the oven and my husband smokes his turkey and I actually like his better. But I won't tell my mom that because Thanksgiving is her favorite holiday,

10 months out and 166 pounds

WOW! It is QUIET on OH. I have a one day break between friends visiting and the holiday, so I want to eat on plan today!

QOTD: Turkey, of course! To be honest I never thought about having anything else. We are typically turkey on Thanksgiving, beef on Christmas, and ham on Easter. This year we are going to a restaurant but I bet I'll get turkey even with other choices available (tradition).

Accountability: Some good and bad days while our friends were visiting. They like to drink wine and have snacks so there was some partaking...

2 Years 7.5 months post-op (maintaining below goal for 23.5 months)

Always lots of coffee...

B: eggs, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon

L: chicken and cottage cheese

D: grilled chicken (already marinating)

S: homemade cottage cheese

Hi Liz - I was thinking it was eerily quiet as well. I have been away for a while and am going to increase my participation. Happy Thanksgiving!

Good morning. I have a slew of doctor's appointments next week including my three month post-surgery visit. So this morning I have to get bloodwork for a couple of my appointments. Bloodwork at our health system is actually pretty convenient, no appointment is needed just drop in at the hospital, fill out one sheet of paperwork and get drawn. Since the hospital is half way from my home to my office I will going work for a couple of hours at least.

QOTD: Always turkey at thanksgiving, roast at Christmas, seafood at New Years, ham at Easter.

Breakfast - none for fasting bloodwork

Snack: deli ham and cheese

Lunch: Steak

Snack: Light and fit

Dinner; Leftover steak

Have a great day, all.

QOTD: Team Turkey. Rarely eat Ham, although we bought a really good one from Costco the other day and that maybe why I woke up with swollen ankles.

In Florida day 5. Being out of good routine is hard. Trying to just enjoy.

Tonight is meat sauce with Trader Joe's cauliflower gnocchi. They are having ravioli.

Me at Target last night with the princess of the house. Why they have these in Florida IDK. Feel like we are part of a Dr Seuss story.

good morning!

I went to a W.E.R.Q. class again last night. I really like that ...and Zumba. More intense than doing it in the water (although doing it in the water provides resistance, which is probably good for my muscles - although either way is good!!). Weight isn't budging, but I think I may be backed up. Taking care of that today...

Thanksgiving prep is underway. I chopped up stuff last night and made the topping for my sweet potato casserole. Making the casserole today, plus brining the turkey. Tomorrow morning I'll make stuffing and then cook the bird. That's all I'm responsible for this year - besides hosting. Luckily it's just my family, so I don't have to clean the house, too (thank God...). A friend wants to see a movie this afternoon, and DH wants to go to meditation class this evening, so I'll be doing that, too..

Accountability - good the last couple of days, but again, weight hasn't budged yet :-(

QOTD: turkey. I like ham just as well, but I'm a traditionalist when it comes to Thanksgiving. Although to be honest, I'd be happy as a clam just eating stuffing and sweet potato casserole. Unfortunately, I can only have about 1/4 C of each, tops!!

3 years 5 months out:

B: homemade Greek yogurt, homemade raspberry sauce

MS: coffee with half & half, protein shake

L: TJ's grilled chicken strips

AS: carbmaster yogurt or hummus & baby carrots

D: 2 TJ's chicken sausages, vegetables
