Money well spent - my Fit*****arge 2HR
I'm late to the rodeo with Fitbits. They have been popular on OH since they began. I thought they were quite unattractive .
I also had some data fear but that was unfounded.
I bought mine about 2 weeks after the newest one (charge 3) came out. I got it at BB&B for 73 dollars. I'm betting there will be deals a plenty. The new one is $149 and is waterproof for swimming.
Things I like.
Light. Holds a charge a long time. Easy to access and set up. Knowing the date. Tracking water. Little pulses for notifications. Knowing what my heart rate is. Not ugly.Sleep patterns. I sleep 7.5 hours every night.
Things that are lifechanging..
Getting up every hour to move.
Realizing exercise can happen anywhere and anytime.
Meeting the step goal. Then raising it. Then meeting it. A goal that is mine alone and obtainable.
Seeing what being sick does to my body. I can measure that and the recovery. That is good info for me and the docs. Also for getting IV iron paid for.
My friend Laura and I started here about the same time. She was an early adapater. She's been here 10 years and is doing that reverse aging thing some women do. I do not expect this outcome.
If you have people at this holiday asking what you want for the next, I would say it's a pretty good choice.
Thanks for sharing this Deb. I have been on the 'Fitbit is not for me' Bandwagon... I bought one once years ago and returned it. Love that you got such a great price.
Lots to consider there.
I agree Laura is reverse aging. That's a bandwagon I could get on.
Happy Thanksgiving

me too. I was shocked when servers first started offering me senior discounts (although granted, I'm old enough at several places to be eligible). I always looked young for my age, so I'd NEVER been asked that before!! That's when I realized I'd "aged" a lot since my surgery (to be honest, I think I probably just look my age now..)
