Stalled.
Just a typical "I've hit a stallllllll!" post. I know it's (hopefully) temporary... but so frustrating. Especially being just 2 lbs from being in the 100s. Anyone else hit a 5 month stall? I guess we all get them at random times, just curious if this is a typical time. I'm trying so hard to maximize the loss until the 6 month mark!

Stalls happen all throughout the process.
Luckily, the "honeymoon phase" where you are not absorbing some calories actually lasts for 18 months, so fear not. Many people on this site have lost well into year 2 or 3...and many have switched their eating even 5,10 years out to take advantage of their tool and lose regain. So you can continue to lose, if you eat dense protein, limit white carbs, and take in fewer calories. Join the daily menu thread if you want to get ideas of what people are eating six months out - it's a great, friendly group!

5 months out is a good point to re-assess your eating. Are you weighing and measuring your servings, or are you just eyeballing them? Portion creep is real, and many folks find that they stall out when they're eating more calories than they think they are.
Keep at it and the scale will start moving again!

Great suggestion, and one I'll take... I track what I eat but haven't been measuring exactly lately!

That was when I hit my stall, my 5-6 month. I was weighing and measuring but still had a 3 week stall. And now I've just not been compliant and my weight is up a few pounds. I'm going back to basics and hopefully it will go down again. For me it was just burnout, coupled with my ulcer. I got tired of watching everyone else eat what I wanted to. So 2 IKEA cinnamon rolls later, I've gotten them out of the house and I'm eating on plan.
It will come off, just stick to your plan and don't be too hard on yourself.

All I can suggest is what everyone else says. Eat lean protein, drop your carbs, drop your calories. It's not easy but it works. I am almost 8 months out and I have been bouncing around the 220-222 mark for a couple weeks, so I got hard core and dropped my calories, ate under 20 carbs and drank a ton of water. Tried to eat things like chicken, steak, fish rather than cold meats etc. This morning I was 218 yahoo! Good luck, you can do it.
