Your microwave might be too high, but also the plates might be too cold before they get heated fast. Try running them under ho****er before you add your food and heat in the micro?

If you are up to driving to Chicago on November 27th, you can have my tickets. I have an eye doctor that afternoon and will just want to go home afterwards, so they will just go to waste.

Jim, I hope that your osteoarthritis eases up. I know how painful that can be. Hang in there!

Enjoy Tampa Cynthia! I'm up and did my run 9 miles. My neck is feeling 90% better. And my range of motion is almost normal/ o will see a chiropractor cause it seems like i need an adjustment. I'm not taking the muscle relaxers any more. My weight dropped 5#'s- I knew my body was just not happy with everything that was going on.

Qotd: hmmm- I cant live with out my vegetable peeler and toaster over. I'm not a coffee drinker so no issue there. The peeler I'm sure has saved me from slicing off a layer of skin. The toaster oven is just multifunctional, heats, toast, bakes, keeps warm in a cozy little size.

Morning all, happy Sunday!

I have been very stressed over the last several weeks, and yesterday developed a very sore throat, which is still plaguing me today, and making my ears feel involved, too. I get sick very infrequently, thank God, aside from occasional headaches which seem mostly hydration related. But I have been very worried, and it's been rough. I can actually pinpoint a moment two or so evenings ago when I, on some subtle yet effective level, acquiesced to allowing myself to not feel well physically. I'm not in a position for this to be a good idea - I need my energy, stamina, non-sick brain, etc. (Somehow I seem to have left my personal maids and castle behind in a former life, and am on my own!) So now I have to fight this bug i basically gave the nod to ("yeah, I guess you can come in, maybe the downtime will give me a break"). That was foolish of me!

Anyway, a little while ago, folks here were chatting about a cold remedy that you make with ho****er, that bubbles. Can someone please refresh my memory about what that OTC medicine is, so I can go buy some? I'm out of Echinacea tincture and not all of those are created equal; it will take several days to order more of the stuff I like. I'll get some vitamin C tablets today, though.

I'm down another pound today to 138.6!

First: Three big mugs of tea, with a little yummy Jordan's Syrup. I may have some vanilla bean torte protein powder in one of them - starting slow today.

B: chicken

L: chicken soup

D: either more chicken, or some tuna.

Have a wonderful day, my friends!

I think that was me - alka seltzer cold tablets create the bubbles -- but read the labels, a couple versions have asprin instead of acetaminophen. They also have a version you mix a powder with ho****er. Hope you feel better!
