Mornin' Weekenders!

pretty much blew it yesterday. Not necessarily bad choices - just too much. Let's just say DH shouldn't have bought popcorn at the hockey game ("bottomless", nonetheless). Or I should have kept my hands out of it. Although option 1 is easier. Luckily, it didn't show up on the scale this morning. I'm really sticking to it today since I have a couple lunches out this week and Thanksgiving is Thursday. Yikes - this week will be a challenge!

QOTD: blender (which I use almost daily) and Instant Pot (which I use about twice a week). Coffee maker, too.

my mother is in a craft show today, and i said I'd stop by. I also told a friend I'd stop by the public library to hear her late husband's jazz band play (at the library? Interesting!). And then there's yoga this evening.

3 years 5 months out:

B: homemade Greek yogurt with homemade raspberry sauce

MS: coffee with half & half, pumpkin vanilla latte protein shake

L: diced chicken, tomato, and 2 T hummus on a Flat Out wrap

AS: carbmaster yogurt or hummus with baby carrots

D: probably TJ's chicken breast strips with vegetables

ex: yoga

Happy Sunday everyone. My friend that was on hospice passed away Friday night. I knew he was gone when I woke up yesterday morning. I actually had a dream about him Friday night and that was standing at the end of my bed. I felt like I was in a funk yesterday. I had a quiet day at home, drinking lots of tea and sitting in front of the fire. I need to get out today, so I am going to go grocery shopping.

QOTD- I would say coffee pot or my crock pot

Food plan for today-

B-2 eggs with cottage cheese

L- probably a baked chicken breast from the deli

D- I have halibut I pulled out of the freeze that I need to eat. Also, I have been craving asparagus, so maybe I will buy some today.

S-chomps or yogurt

Lots of water and vitamins always

Good morning~ I was up so early this morning, wide awake at 4 but pushed through until 6, haha. We are going to Starbucks this morning and to the park for a good walk w/the dogs. Then to the store and home to finish all the projects I started yesterday! Football today and we'll BBQ later.

QOTD - Hand down my Keurig for coffee and tea. It's what gets me out of bed in the morning. I never thought to use a stick blender to froth, thanks Cynthia!

Accountability - I think I may have had actual hunger yesterday, or just a big pouch day, but I felt hungry in a way I haven't since surgery, it felt very physical. I thought maybe I was thirsty, so I was pounding water, but that wasn't it...I will focus on eating denser protein than eggbeaters and yogurt. I had countless almonds and a yogurt I didn't plan for. No damage on the scale thankfully.

23+mo out - 153.2

b- coffee x 4, protein pancake w/SF syrup

l-tuna w/SG honey mustard dressing

d-BBQ chicken and green beans

es- SF jello

v/l - on track

e-walk the dogs

Have a great day!

Good morning, all. I had a bit of a setback with my osteoarthritis yesterday so ended up sleeping on my couch because the big pillows are more comfortable to elevate my knee. But it already seems a little bit better this morning that it did about 5 hours ago. The pain from the arthritis also causes my blood sugar to increase, Boo to that.

I will probably take my son to the hockey game tonight, if I'm feeling up to it. Its a 5:00 matinee, so won't keep me up past my bedtime. The kids in Illinois have this week off from school, so he doesn't have to worry about getting up for school.

QOTD: Probably the microwave. I didn't have the dramatic change in tastes that some people have, but I find that nothing tastes as good as it used to. So, I tend to just eat whatever is convenient and on-plan. If we have dense protein in the refrigerator, i will keep heating up pieces of it until its done. For some reason I am cracking all of the plates. I don't know if they are just old, or the settings on the microwave are too high, or what.

Breakfast: Omelette

Snack: Light and fit

Lunch: pork

Snack: Chili

Dinner: Hamburger

Have a great day.
