Good Morning- since I have been up since 5:30 figured I'd start the thread. In Tampa at my daughter-from-another-mother's house. Kids, snacks and madness and mayhem.

Did go buy some essentials yesterday- Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, premier protein and veggies.... need something healthy to grab.

And I had to go buy an $8.88 5 cup coffee pot from Walmart because their coffee pot broke and they never replaced it. What? No. Just no. They were just buying coffee on the way to work. The pot and some Gevalia coffee and I'm good.

QOTD: what kitchen essentials or gadget couldn't you live without?

I actually make cold brew at home but to make my latte and froth up the milk I use my stick blender daily.

B: overnight oats made with vanilla premier protein and blueberries (we will see how this flys), Fairlife latte

snacks: Greek yogurt or cottage cheese, apple

meals? Don't know but focusing on protein and veggies first any carbs come after.

Ex: walking

Hello! Yesterday we ended up seeing Crimes of Grindlewald once we got back to town, and then some friends of ours gave us a short bookshelf afterward. They live on a slight hill, and it had started snowing. The roads were super slick, but we tested our new Jeeps snow setting and made it just fine, but we saw two cars that seemed to have just given up and were parked helter skelter on the street. Today I'm doing laundry and re-organizing my books.

accountability: popcorn was consumed at the movie, more than the "few bites of yours" I told my cousin I would have. The upside is that I think it helped with the constipation I'd been experiencing recently...silver linings.

Qotd: probably my Kuerig. Coffee every day, and DH uses it for chai lattes and such (he doesn't drink coffee)

breakfast: eggs and sausage, after a couple cups of coffee

lunch: I'm on a tuna salad kick, I think because it tastes so much better with my homemade pickle relish. No cottage cheese in the fridge, so making it with real mayo

dinner: were supposed to go out with my in laws but it will depend on if the snow on the roads has melted or cleared. They're older and won't chance slick roads, since they come in from outside of Omaha

Yes to coffee!

Glad I am away from Snow and cold for a few days....

yes to popcorn. I say it defies laws of physics. How we can fit so much in.

I'm avoiding the reviews but have noticed mixed headlines. Given you are an Harry Potter fan, did you like/dislike Crimes?

So...it's hard to say. I had a few issues with continuity/timeline based on what we've learned in the original books about some of the characters, but I also think they left it open to clarify in the third movie, so I'm trying to just enjoy this for what it was--the MIDDLE of a story--and withhold judgement until I've seen the last one in a couple years. Does that help? :P willing to discuss privately after you've seen it!

So at first I resented it's purchase. We'd just paid off DH's old vehicle when he was rear-ended and the Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk was the result :P and I think I was a bit jealous since I'm still driving a 2013 small car without any bells and whistles, but the Jeep is fully loaded.

After driving around in the cold and snow, I'm loving it! In fact, if I'm going somewhere and DH is staying home, I find myself stealing the Jeep rather than drive my own!
