What's on your Saturday menu, RNYers?
Hi everyone!! I think I'm finally lucid enough to post, lol. Well I was able to do my race. I was even pleased with my time- the start was slow because I was corralled in the back. the muscle relaxer is magical to me, as my pain Has dropped from and 8 to a 3. It didn't bother me at all during the run, and now only hurts if I'm looking over either shoulder. 56.12 was my official time. Now we're heading to the outlets to get the teens some boots. I get incredibly drowsy/lethargic with the muscle relaxer- so no driving for me.
Qotd: I'm passionate about my career - Human Resources and my personal fitness. I love what I do, jobs shape people lives, so helping them get work, or guiding them to excel or improve their career contributes to being a better person. Fitness is a personal passion cause I see how unhealthy so many are and it scares me that I may not be able to enjoy retirement one day. I just went to a funeral for someone and in the obituary it said she battled her health for 30+ years. I thought that was sad.
