Good for you for detoxing with ferocity! It's strange how a bit of gain so can make us feel so disproportionately horrible, but coming from where we all did, there is a lot behind that feeling. I, however, know you are gorgeous, Amy!
What a sweet comment your DH made about your tires and the rain! He is a keeper for sure!

So much yes! I'm blown away by how horrible this feels considering I used to feel this way just about everyday. It's no longer normal which is a very good thing... Feeling great is normal now. This? I just cannot hang.

I get it - and we have the power to reverse any setback, especially when, with daily weighing, we cannot ignore the trajectory of how much we weigh. I used to imagine I could magic such things away through denial, but look where it got me! In a way it's good to feel so awful - it limits the damage! You are doing what is tough but necessary, and it will show right away. Hang in there!

Very true - thank you, Cara!

QOTD: Too many projects, not enough money or time. Redo the bathroom to get rid of the lovely avocado green tile and formica shower surround. Finish painting the interior- paid a guy to do it right before I had surgery and he never finished, so I finished one room and most of another. But I still need to paint the living room which is hard to do when you still use it. I pulled out an air conditioner from the master bedroom and need to finish patching the wall inside and put siding on it outside. The yard is a disaster and needs major help, leaves piling up and ivy going wild, I still have a tree that fell last year that I need to cut up. It was too big for me to handle, and my tiny electric chainsaw wouldn't go all the way through. I ended up pushing the tree to the other side of the fence, out of sight out of mind.
I kind of went off the rails last night. 1167 calories, protein 76, fat 24, carbs 105. Not that bad but I don't like the feeling of being out of control, or going back to my old ways.
Happy Friday Eve everyone! Have a great day.
