What's on your Thursday Menu?
Good morning, all. I think that I can see Friday off in the distance. Our kids have all of next week off, so they are really counting down the days. I will work Monday and Tuesday. Usually I don't go in on Wednesday, but I have to stop by the hospital to get bloodwork and its on the way into the office, so I will likely go in for a few hours on Wednesday. Our office closes at 3:00.
I had the Light and Fit Pumpkin Pie flavor yesterday, I thought it was good.
QOTD: Just raking at this point. I need to take down the doors from our porch into the house, strip, sand and repaint them but its too cold now. That will be my May project.
Breakfast: Eggs, turkey sausage
Snack: Spirella
Lunch: Pork
Snack: Light and fit
Dinner: Pork
Have a great day all

Good morning! I'm getting business-pretty for my interview which is at 8:30, but my cat still demanded her tribute at 5:30, so I have plenty of time. I'll leave at 7:30 because the place is located in downtown Omaha and it's been a while since I've gone anywhere in the thick of rush hour traffic. Since I get to my current job early, the traffic is still light.
Qotd: we repaired a leak over the summer and have yet to repair the internal cosmetic damage, so that's definitely on our to-do list, and we're looking to invest in new windows with hopes that it will pay for itself when we sell next fall. Our windows are terribly out of date, inefficient, our bedroom is always freezing with draft. Our house is very small, only 6 windows (two sets of doubles and then a single in our bedroom and kitchen) so it won't be TOO terrible.
Breakfast: interview is from 8:30-10, so I'll just drink a protein shake on the way, and stop for a coffee afterward
lunch: tuna salad (made with cottage cheese instead of mayo), dill pickle spear, string cheese
snack: Greek L&F
dinner: pork chops are marinating :)

My district closed not long after I posted. It's a mix of snow and freezing rain. This is the earliest snow day I can ever remember in my 24 years of teaching. Thank goodness we have a whole house generator if the lines get icy and power goes out! It's pretty to watch the flakes fall.
You can't measure your achievements with someone else's yardstick!
