morning everyone.
Last night the furnace guy was out and its gonna be $550 to fix it.
so now we have literally just spent ALL of our savings the past week on getting the plumbing, furnace and car repaired. UGH.
I am so upset about it all...I literally have NOTHING left for christmas. I know my job will likely give us a holiday bonus check but I don't think its going to be more than about $300 which is not going to cover even half of what I need for Christmas, with 4 nieces/nephews, not to mention the rest of my family and DH and Story! I am feeling really angry and sad about it all and there's nothing I can do about it.
I ate too many nuts last night...not sure if that's related to the money stress but it's likely.
QOTD: We always have thanksgiving at my parents' house...My dad left for his house in AZ on halloween so he will not be there but my mom is staying til after thanksgiving...so She is making turkey, potatoes and green beans, I am bringing a cheesy bacon brussels sprouts dish, my sister is baking some desserts and my brother and SIL are bringing a cornbread pudding thing. It will be great...I am sure I won't be able to try everything but plan on trying a little of the cornbread stuff and my sister said she is going to try to make a sugar free dessert option because she is awesome like that!
We will probably go over and hang out at the house most of the day and let the kids play together while we chit chat. it's just my immediate family and our SO's and kids but it's nice.
the rest of our extended families live further away and make it difficult planning big gatherings for holidays.
B: coffee w/sf pumpkin spice creamer, 2 string cheese and buddig ham packet
L: leftover white chicken chili
S: greek L&F yogurt (if needed)
D: I dont know if DH remembered to put the roast in the crockpot this morning...if so, it will be italian beef. otherwise leftovers lol

Ugh, I hate the money stress combined with Christmas; it just makes things so hard. Your thanksgiving sounds perfect though!

QOTD- I'm not sure as it is only me and my Mom. We usually go out to dinner, I don't eat turkey and she doesn't want to cook one for just herself. This will be the first post-op Thanksgiving so it will be a challenge, as the food is always too much at most restaurants that are open for Thanksgiving. I will also be working both Thanksgiving and the day after, I don't do Black Friday working as a cashier at Target for 2 years cured me of ever wanting to shop on Black Friday.
The job I was sure I would turn down is asking me again, they want to talk to me and maybe relieve some of my fears. I said I would talk. It would be really great to get a raise as my medical insurance is going up $140 a month in January. They offer benefits and it is they told me $117 a month versus $654 a month I will be paying. But I'm still not sure about the commute, but I'll talk to them.
I've been really good the last couple of days, wishing the scale would reflect it. Was still up today. Yesterday 768 calories, 82 protein, 17 fat, 75 carbs.
Happy Hump Day, only 2 more to go! Have a great day everyone.
