Hi all

thought I would throw it out today.

I'm about to start all day calls again today.I DID make it to the gym and did 4 miles on the elliptical! yay. For dinner I had protein pancakes and didn't even have a before bed snack.

Tired walmart's online grocery pickup thing where you drive to the parking spot and they bring it to you. they don't charge and it was nice to get some staples when being in a rush. I don't like however that they don't print a receipt.

QOTD: thanksgiving plans?

I am cooking here a turkey, stuffing and mac for DH, green beans for me, and a sweet pot pie for him. then we are taking a large plate to his dad's.

food for today:

prot pancakes

coffee/premier

not sure what else?

Good Morning!

Another early night going to bed and another early morning for me. I didn't make it to the gym or walk the dog last night. I came home and got a hot bath. I was so cold yesterday - all day and nothing was warming me up. It is cold again today but I am armed with a lot of layers and my gym clothes are already in the car. DH has a meeting after work so I will go to the gym instead of coming home to collect him for the gym.

QOTD: We always go to my parent's house. It is my mom's favorite holiday and I always take the mash potatoes. Mash potatoes were my favorite food before surgery but now they make me gag. LOL Funny how things change. I am hoping it isn't too cold so I can encourage some relatives to go for a walk with me after dinner and before desserts. Fingers crossed!

10 months out and still weighing in at 165.5.

M1: overnight oats

M2: PP chocolate shake (if needed I haven't had one for a week or more)

M3: ground turkey, tomatoes, onions, garlic with a sprinkle of cheese (sort of like a goulash)

M4: Asian pear and a cheese stick (didn't eat it yesterday)

M5: fish and green beans

Lots of water and crystal light and all vitamins!

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning!

Tomorrow is my group interview for the job outside of my current job. I start my new position at my current job on Monday. I'm hoping to hear something back from the other job next week, in order to give 2 weeks notice since they want a Dec 10 start date at the other place. I'm really still hoping I get the this job, even if I means having to put my 2 weeks notice in after only just starting.

Qotd: normally we spend it with my family at my aunts house in my hometown, but this year we are driving to Tulsa, OK to visit DH's aunts and grandpa. His parents live here but since it's just them, they're super flexible and usually are fine with us spending the actual holidays with my family since they have more defined plans (I'm from a very large family). Then we celebrate with them whenever. They aren't coming to OK with us, so we may still have a small thanksgiving with them sometime.

breakfast: I think I'm going to treat myself to an Americano with a shot of SF caramel.

snack: Greek L&F

lunch: spinach salad with 2 oz chicken breast and a HB egg

Dinner: salmon (4 oz) with cooked zucchini, frozen from the garden. I think that's the last of the frozen garden stuff. I still have kale outside but it will likely be harvested and eaten in the next week. It can withstand quite a bit of cold and frost, but it won't live all through the winter.

Good luck with the interview. I hope it all works out the way you want.

Thanks for the idea for Starbucks. I haven't had Starbucks since surgery because I have don't know what to order. The Americano with a shot of SF caramel is a start!

Good morning! Justice just had a near heart attack, as a ratty looking cat just walked next to the lanai we are sitting on. There was that initial look of shock when they both saw each other, then Justice started barking like crazy and the cat flew. I wonder if it was feral (or just a strange looking house cat)? They aren't supposed to run free around here...

QOTD: Sadly, we haven't figured out Thanksgiving yet. Most people we know are going home. We could go to the lodge and though DH would enjoy that potentially (music and dancing), I'm just not sure I would. I've always been used to intimate Thanksgivings. We do have friends staying in Fort Myers for the sand sculpting competition so we might do something with them.

Accountability: Right on and the four pounds I want to lose aren't budging! Oh how I wish for post-op metabolism...

2 Years 7 months post-op (maintaining below goal for 23 months)

Always lots of coffee...

B: ? (Going to a coffee at a friends)

L: tuna salad, pickles, and cottage cheese

D: leftover fish tacos

S: homemade cottage cheese, hummus and nut thins
