morning everyone!

I feel like everything in my house is falling apart at once right now and it is really stressing me out. DH and I had a big argument this morning about whether to call a plumber or HVAC person first...which was super silly considering we can just call them both...but it was early and we were tired and we texted after I got to work and talked it out. ugh.
Our kitchen sink is clogged and the pipes are leaking really bad so there is water all under our cabinet...we can't use the dishwasher or the sink and it's not easy to deal with. He is going to have a plumber come out tomorrow when he has a day off. He also thinks the furnace is not working properly although I really honestly think he is just not used to feeling cold LOL...It feels chilly to me too but it's not unbearable with socks and blankets and I think it's honestly just attributed to the fact we need new windows in our upper level.

I totally splurged last night and wanted a sweet treat so I made a concoction of sugar free pudding, PBfit powder and some peanuts with Reeses whipped cream on top.
it was super decadent and I enjoyed it thoroughly but it was about 200 cals that I did not plan for and it put me over on my daily allotment. I also think I probably ate it too fast or too much because I had a wicked bellyache for about 2 hours after. probably good so I don't try it again for a while!

QOTD: I definitely sometimes wish I could have sweets...like with real sugar without risking feeling sick or weight gain. I knew RNY came with the risk of dumping and that is kind of why I wanted it. I like that It makes me not eat sugary snacks because I would definitely overindulge in them...I loved trying new dessert recipes for different kinds of cookie/brownie bars, etc, and I do miss it especially when I see all the delicious stuff ppl post on social media with the holidays coming up!

B: coffee w/sf hazelnut creamer/ greek L&F yogurt
L: last of the reuben slaw, finally!
S: turkey meat stick & Light string cheese
D: probably lunch meat and cheese and maybe a few strawberries- I can't cook without my sink :(

Household headaches are the worst.

Dont know if you want to consider this. There is a home insurance (in our area is Fidelity national home warranty) that you pay about $450 a year but anything that goes wrong, from plumbing to washer/dryer to anything you just call them and they take care of everything for a nominal fee. It pays for itself just the first time you need a repair. We had to replace a water heater and our portion was $75!!

this sounds like a really great idea. I am going to have to look into something like this...i feel like every time we fix one thing something else starts falling apart lately!

I think ours is called Home Shield. It is a comfort knowing it's there.

Good morning! I"m off work today and tomorrow to go spend some time with my aunt; really looking forward to it.

Accountability - when I weighed my food to take to work yesterday, I was shocked at how small the portions were, it just seemed like so much less food and then after I had my breakfast portion, I was starving about 90 minutes later. I didn't understand and wondered if maybe the battery was going in the scale and it was measuring wrong. Turns out some moron set the scale to grams vs oz so those portions WERE really small and it made sense that I was hungry again. (For the record, I live alone...I'm the moron).

QOTD - thin crust italian sausage pizza with extra cheese from Falcos. This is the local dive pizza joint near where I lived as a kid and where my grandparents always lived.

B - coffee with half and half, greek light and fit

L and snack - 4.3 oz deli roast beef

D - cheeseburger no bun

No idea what my access will be like over the weekend; my aunt's place is very rural and her internet is pretty iffy. Have a great Friday and weekend all!

I've done that with my scale before too! First time I did it I just ate those miniscule portions for two or three meals before I figured it out. That was early on. It's happened again, but now I know to double check that it's set to measure ounces, not grams! I love my little scale!

Good morning. I just have one pound left of the vacation weight to get off, so pretty much a wash now. Overall doing well, though I fell Sunday because the dogs were playing and lifted a runner. It was tucked in under a chair and I didn't see it was up from the floor. Bam on my bad shoulder, so a little less lifting and stuff this week - darn.

QOTD - easy - Garrett's caramel corn. I have a small bag on my birthday and on new year's eve. But I'd like it more and without consequence.

No workout snack, as I worked out last night and took the morning off

B - 2 hard boiled eggs (less .5 yolk); half a sausage and a bit of green onion and salsa

S - one of the new low sugar greek yogurts

L - lunch meeting, so ordered a vegetarian salad and I brought .5 chicken burger patty with me and some green onion (that's why I had green onion with breakfast). The other choices were pizza or Italian sub. Nice that they let the diet folks or vegetarians special order something

S - small apple and tbs peanut butter

D - turkey chili and maybe more green onion ;)

S - SF Jello
