am I really first on here? Where are all you early birds?! Just kidding. I'm normally early, but my mornings have been weird lately.

qotd: if you could add one thing back into your regular diet without consequence, what would you choose? I'd choose nachos with the works.

Breakfast: coffee with almond milk

snack: 2 string cheese

lunch: 4 oz deli turkey

dinner: out tonight, at a bar for Harry Potter trivia, ill likely get a burger and skip the bun

Mornin'!

Bad eating day yesterday. No bad choices, just too much. I really need to watch it today since I've been eating at or near the top of my range for several days now - and then, yesterday. Ugh.

class this morning, then lunch with a friend. I also need to commit to spending an hour cleaning this afternoon - I need to get this house into shape before

I head off for surgery the first week of December. I'd be embarrassed to have a pet sitter come over!!

QOTD: hmmm....there's actually a lot I surprisingly don't miss, but maybe pizza or pasta?

3 years 5 months out:

B: homemade Greek yogurt, homemade blueberry sauce

MS: coffee with half & half, protein shake

L: not sure. We usually go to a Mexican or Thai restaurant - so something "safe" at one of those

D: turkey meatballs and zoodles?

Good morning everyone. I had a great food day yesterday!! 100% on track, no extra anything. I actually had my son take the box of chips with him when he left for school. I know that may sound weird, but I needed them not to be there and to tempt me. I also slept through the night last night, which is a huge win for me.

QOTD- A margarita on the rocks!

Black coffee with Miralax

B- 2 eggs with cottage cheese

S- chomps at 11 am

L- 5 oz shredded chicken with hot sauce

D- smoked chicken sausage sauteed with garlic, jalapenos, and cabbage

Lots of water and hot tea, vitamins always

Be kind to yourself today. This journey is hard at times, but so worth it.

It is almost the end of the week! I've got my place organized and cleaned here in Florida so am working on projects like new countertops and appliances. The newer sales of the same units definitely support doing those last major upgrades. And then of course, there is just finding decorative stuff that suits the place!

Hey, has anyone heard from KarenP8 lately? It has been almost 3 months since she posted last and I don't think she was going away for that long. I sent her messages a couple of ways but haven't heard from her.

QOTD: Oh boy. I guess cinnamon buns (big gooey ones). I loved those things. I can stay away right now though because after less than one my tummy complains.

Accountability: 100%, and my weight is at the point it was at mid-summer (before our two trips). Now for a few more pounds to get back fully into my maintenance range...

2 Years 7 months post-op (maintaining below goal for 23 months)

Always lots of coffee...

B: eggs, cottage cheese

L: Deli chicken and cottage cheese

D: fish of some sort (out to dinner)

S: hummus

Trish heard from her a few weeks ago - they are in an area w/minimal or no service. I don't recall when she said she would be back or back on OH though.

yes - I contacted her on Facebook messenger awhile ago. I just went back to check what she said. She responded on Oct 25. She said they were at a camp in rural Louisiana for four more days and that the internet was really sketchy there. After that, they were headed to another camp in Hot Springs, Arkansas for three weeks. She said she was doing fine and to tell everyone hello.

I was thinking they'd have a better signal in Hot Springs so she'd be able to join us again, but apparently not. But since she said they'd be there for three weeks, maybe she'll be back with us in another couple of weeks. I hope so, anyway!!
