Good morning menu friends!

QOTD: I'm with you. The money stuff. I have handled it all since 2 weeks after my husband and I started dating 21 years ago lol. He was in the navy. Had to go out to sea and handed me his checkbook and asked if I could pay his bills while he was gone. And he's never taken it back lol!

breakfast-2 pieces of bacon after I made my son bacon and eggs.

snack-premier shake

lunch-meeting a friend bc I'm off today. Most likely will be Mexican. That's our "go-to". I typically get lunch fajitas and eat the chicken, peppers, lettuce and sour cream.

Dinner-haven't decided yet. My daughters best friend is leaving for the Navy next week so him and his girlfriend are coming over for dinner. I'm waiting for him to make his request before I run to the store.

I hope everyone has a great day!

Hmmm Good morning! From my standpoint, the election results were okay - no big surprises. They were disappointing where I thought they would be but positive in some other ways.

Thank you all for your condolences for Chiquita. It was her time and it was peaceful so we are okay. And I am in Florida now with a change of environment which makes it easier. Justice is happy as a clam to be back into the warmth and sunshine. I have a lot of projects but this place is really looking like mine now (we had it painted and some molding done over the winter). DH is still adjusting to the transition which was a little rocky, but he was better yesterday.

QOTD: Hmmm...can I give away the caretaking for DH (Alzheimer's)? If I had to pick only one task that I hate the most it would either be housecleaning or estate/money management. Doing the latter alone without the advice of my former attorney DH is super stressful so I pay a financial advisor who I trust completely to do it for me.

I'm glad that you are back to warm weather. I know it is hard for DH to adjust but you will certainly be happier being able to get out and around. Also glad that Justice is enjoying himself!

Good Morning! Is it just me or is the week dragging? Maybe it's the time change or this cold but it doesn't seem possible that it's only Wednesday. Peach, that would drive me crazy to get a text that there is "news" but having to wait to hear it-like just don't tell me anything about it until you can tell me!

Mornin' All!

the election turned out pretty much as expected. I'm very happy to have a change in governor, though - although my candidate was slightly ahead all along according to the polls, so even that wasn't a huge surprise. Class this morning, a meeting this evening. I should probably clean out another kitchen cabinet this afternoon - never got around to it yesterday.

QOTD: I end up making most of the major decisions, and I wish my husband would show more interest or offer his input. Or better yet, take some of these decisions off my shoulders and make them himself. I think part of it is that I'm older than him, and part is it's just habit. Plus I think in some situations I have a stronger opinion about the options. He often really doesn't care one way or the other. I find that aggravating sometimes.

3 years 5 months out:

B: homemade Greek yogurt, homemade blueberry sauce

MS: coffee with half & half, protein shake

L: chicken breast, tomato, and hummus on a Flat Out wrap

AS: L&F yogurt or protein pudding

D: pork chop and 1/4 C sweet potato

QOTD: I would like someone else to pay the bills with their money.

Update on yesterday exercises. So lateral jump I did better than expected. I couldn't do it both legs together... it was more one following the other but at some point both legs were off the ground. Chose to do the Chinese plank the alternative way he gave me just because too hard to get 2 benches available. Shoulders on a foam roller, body straight, dig heels in and lift.

With the change to cold weather my water intake stinks. Too much coffee and tea. So that's my focus today.

B: Fairlife latte, overnight oats W/protein

L: emiepie eggsalad, toast. Veggie tbd

D. Egg roll in a bowl w/TJ Asian flavor chicken chop meat

S: protein, Greek yogurt and blueberries or apple

Ex: gym
