What's on your Tuesday Menu?
Good Morning All,
I'm up and ready super early. There is no school today because of Election Day but there is professional development for all teachers. I have been assigned to go to a high school across the county and I have to leave earlier than normal. We have been warned to carpool because parking will be an issue since all elementary teachers will be at this school. I find this to be ridiculous but I am not in charge. What makes it worse is that there is nothing out there (very rural) no coffee shops, no Wawa or Royal Farms, virtually no restaurants (for lunch), nothing. It's going to be a great day!
QOTD: Do you ever talk to yourself? When and what do you say? I do talk to myself. Sometimes encouraging myself to finish strong (thinking of treadmill runs), sometimes at school when I have to follow certain steps for logging in to a program for the children (I'm definitely tech challenged) or at home just to remember to do something.
10 months out and 165.5 pounds
M1: PP chocolate shake
M2: overnight oats
M3: 1 oz. cheese, 4 olives, 6 crackers, 2 tbsp. hummus and 1/4 cup blueberries
M4: One bar (if needed before the gym)
M5: unstuffed pepper soup
Going to the gym after sitting in professional development all day - it will soothe the soul.
Have a great day!

Mornin!
I have class this morning and a board meeting this evening. In between, I hope to tackle more of my kitchen (made some headway in a couple of the cabinets yesterday. I swear it's been years since I cleaned out those two!!).
QOTD: hmmmm....I always seem to have this narrative or analysis or whatever going on in my head, so I guess I talk to myself. Well, I do occasionally, anyway. I talk to my cats a lot, too.
3 years 5 months out:
B: homemade Greek yogurt with 1/2 scoop chocolate protein powder, raspberries
MS: coffee with half & half, protein shake
L: cottage cheese
AS: baby carrots and hummus. Or high fiber cereal.
D: meeting at Panera Bread. Probably a cup of turkey chili with a sprouted grain roll
Good Morning, Body still adjusting to the morning change in time... It was an emotionally and physically exhausting week with my Stepmother being here. Drove her to LaGuardia in the rain yesterday- that was a mess. Plus there was so much eating out this week...
QOTD: I often say - I talk to my brain. When I have what part of me knows is wrong thinking - I talk to it and set it straight. Ha.
B: Fairlife latte, Overnight oats w/protein
L: Emiepie eggsalad, 1sl Dave's killa bread, green beans
D: Hamburger, broccoli
S: Protein drink, greek yogurt and blueberries
EX: Gym. Have 2 new exercises the trainer wants me to do... I think he just likes to see what he can get an old lady to do or make a fool of herself. Lateral bench jump with hands on bench...basically jumping and swinging your legs from side to side over the bench (not much chance of this one but I will try) and Chinese plank - basically positioning yourself over 2 benches face up- shoulders on one and feet on the other and holding a straight body for 45 seconds. That I think I can do.

Good Morning! So yesterday as the day progressed I felt like I had been hit by a truck. My body was sore from the run but I was congested and had chills throughout the day too. When I got home from work I took the hottest bath I could stand and after prepping for today and eating dinner I went to bed. I feel much better this morning and was even able to do my normal routine run this morning. My muscles are still tight (in some weird areas too like my neck and under arms near my rib cage) but as long as I keep moving I'll be ok.
QOTD: I tend to talk to myself if I really am concentrating on something.
