What's on your Friday pics menu, RNYers?
Thanks and I totally agree with you. It's not right to expect a 16-17 year old to know what he wants to do for the rest of his life. If you asked DS right now what he wants from life he would say he wants to be happy. And happiness for him is living by the beach and going surfing every day. But we all know IRL he has to have some kind of higher education that leads to a job.

Some kittens, if taken from their moms too young, will attempt to nurse on anything or anyone who makes them feel safe. I had a cat a long time ago, a half Siamese named Crescent, who did this. She and her sister were only 5 weeks old when I got them. Cressie constantly tried to nurse by sucking on the buttons on my or other people's clothes. She would get cozy in somebody's lap, find a button, then suck on it while kneading her paws, purring contentedly. This behavior lasted her entire life. My two Siamese now were 12 weeks old when I got them, and I could really see the difference those weeks made in their readiness to be parted from their mom. Neither of these two have ever done that.
Happy Friday! It is a busy day today as they all have been this week. We leave Sunday for Florida.
QOTD: Florida is sort of a trip, but not really. If I can get a good deal we might do a western Caribbean cruise in the spring but I'm not sure. It would probably be the last trip for DH (and me for a long while). Below are some pics from our recent trip to Oregon and Colorado though.
Accountability: Not great / evening grazing with some carbs. Calories weren't horrible and carbs not huge but the sneaking back of evening eating is not good.
2 Years 7 months post-op (maintaining below goal for 23 months)
Always lots of coffee...
B: eggs, cottage cheese
L: Deli chicken and cottage cheese
D: Salmon I think (out to dinner)
S: yogurt
