I will have to check them out...my favorite gaelic group is called Capercaillie; I have very fond memories of driving across the top of Scotland in a rainstorm listening to them for the first time.

Good morning! I have my third interview for the other job set for early next week (still working on the specifics for time, the interviewer is going to email me back) and I was told that I should have an answer by the end of next week. The promotion here at my current job should get back to me next week as well. I'm confident on both, but I want the new job. If I'm offered the promotion, is it professional/ok if I ask for time to consider the offer? So I can see if I hear back from the new place? I'm leaning toward doing that (if I'm offered the promotion of course)
yesterday I ended up skipping the pizza in leu of turkey chili, but probably ruined the good substitution by sampling a piece of vegan chocolate zucchini cake.
qotd: my husband and I go to a lot of local rock band shows. We currently really like Arson City, which I believe was recently signed and has been getting radio play, however it may be because they are from Omaha, so the local stations are more likely to play them.
breakfast: coffee with almond milk
i brought 2 containers each with 4 oz of chicken breast--one with buffalo sauce and the other with Alfredo. I'll eat both of them at some point today.
dinner is up in the air as we're seeing a play at our Orpheum play as the first of our broadway series season tickets. We bought season passes because it was virtually the only way to get tickets to see Hamilton next fall. Since DH doesn't get home til 6, and the play is at 7:30, we may not have time for dinner out, so it may be something quick at home. Just not sure what yet.

I think that's a fair ask; and I always coach people to counter, at least a little bit -- sometimes you get what you ask for!

Good Morning,
Had zero trick-or-treaters last night which is okay with me because then the dog doesn't go nuts! We were in bed early too. After school/work I am going to the gym because DH is seal coating his mother's driveway by hand. He did our yesterday afternoon and could barely stand up straight or walk afterward.
QOTD: I've got nothing but when I do I'll edit
10 months out and the scale is still stuck at 167
B: PP chocolate shake

L: salad with 4 oz. chicken, a sprinkle of parmesan cheese & dressing
D: chicken quesadilla - got to use up the chicken.
100+ ounces of water and all vitamins
Thinking of going, Keto. Anyone doing that? In order to lose the last of my weight and to kick carbs to the curb, I want to give it a try. Just wondering if anyone else is living that lifestyle.
You can't measure your achievements with someone else's yardstick!
