Good morning - looks like I"m the early bird so I will get us started today!
Halloween was fun but I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to wear those pretend glasses all day...or maybe it was the wig; I had day 2 of headache so did go to bed early. Feeling better today and heading to pilates in about 10 minutes.
QOTD - who is your favorite little known musician?
Mine is William Topley, he used to sing with a group called The Blessing back in the 90s and I've followed his music avidly since then. I've made some of my best friends about 8 years ago when he and his band at the time (Black River Band) said "who wants to come to the Bahamas for the weekend" and about 20 people showed up. Great experience! Give a listen to a song called Delta Rain or Water Taxi and you might end up hooked.
Accountability - I didn't feel great yesterday so just had a warm protein shake for dinner vs my plan; ended up at 551/66/10.

hi all
we are getting some crazy winds today- hopefully the power stays on! scale is still up which is not cook because I've been really watching it. looking for a 'woosh' in the next day or so.
Meeting with a trainer today to talk through form and such as mine needs work and she is a power lifter.
so - water update- guy came yesterday and the water is acidic and it needs to be alkaline. plus there is air in the water making it cloudy. Now we have to spend 1500 more dollars for a special filter to fix it. I think the guy is coming today or tomm.
QOTD: Love love Eva Cassidy but I wouldn't say she is unknown. she had an amazing voice and passed very young due to cancer.
Food for today:
coffee
water
baked chicken

Good morning. We had very few children for Halloween this year. It was odd because just a few streets over there were many children. I guess they didn't have to walk very far to get all the candy that they wanted.
My shoes are on there way back to Chicagoland, so that is a relief. I went to the gym last night to do some light riding with the hope that it would loosen up my knee but it doesn't seem to have worked. I can walk and was able to sleep last night but I think that I may need to take a day or two off to let it recover.
QOTD: I don't know if this qualifies but Little Feat was always a band that I liked that didn't get much airplay
Breakfast: Leftover chili
Snack: L&F
Lunch: Ham and cheese
Snack: Jerky
Dinner: Unknown but on plan
Have a great day all.

So peeved - I just lost my post and have to recreate it. This is a busy week returning from one trip and getting ready to leave for Florida on Sunday. I am also trying to spend quality time with Chiquita. She is still eating but everything else is a struggle for her. We've been letting her have meat that she loves but trying to make sure she doesn't end up with an upset stomach. Keeping her bed clean and dry is almost impossible, but she hates when it isn't clean.
QOTD: I don't listen to music much, but DH used to (and I try to do it for him). He loved Irish music so some of the groups he liked might not be familiar to a lot of people. One is Lunasa which I enjoy and who we've seen in person several times.
Accountability: Not so good after dinner last night. Back on plan today!
2 Years 7 months post-op (maintaining below goal for 23 months)
Always lots of coffee...
B: eggs, cottage cheese
L: Deli chicken and cottage cheese
D: leftover cheeseburger
S: yogurt
