well, they sent her home with me again today. The vet is going to look everything over again to see if she wants to see her tomorrow. As is usually the case, this is going to be a day-by-day thing. But I know it's not going to be much longer. I don't know what else they can do, to be honest..

Such a difficult decision. We have an appointment to euthanize Chiquita, our 17 year old chihuahua, on Saturday. My youngest DD wanted to come so I had to get the Saturday appointment further in advance. Poor Chiquita really has no quality of life anymore but it is still going to be tough. Especially since for her first few years she was my deceased DD's very beloved dog. Her ashes will go into DD's grave.

I have all my former cats' ashes - they'll all be going into our urns when we die...

I'm sorry about Chiquita. Right there with you. This is so tough. We've been through this many times and it NEVER gets easier. It's just awful.
