What's on your Mondayy menu RNYers?
Good Monday Morning!
I went to the gym on Saturday because the weather was awful and I actually ran. I use to run when I was losing weight with my lapband and then I tore cartilage in my hip and the hip doctor flat out told me my body wasn't built to run and that I needed to lose more weight before I even started thinking about running. He was an ass. Anyway, I started the Couch to 5K schedule and found that to be too easy so I would just run for 5 minutes and then walk a couple of minutes. It felt so good. I am a runner after all.
I am feeling sick in the gut this morning and it's all my fault. I at like c-r-a-p all day yesterday. I am paying for it today my insides are screaming at me and I fill just awful. Today I have a plan and I am sticking to it.
QOTD: Definitely the spaghetti and meatballs. I love cake but it is a trigger food and the way I feel right now is not a way I ever want to feel again.
10 months out and I didn't weigh myself this morning
B: PP chocolate shake
2nd B: overnight oats
S: hb egg (if needed)
L: 2 oz. chicken and 1/4 c roasted broccoli and cauliflower

Going back to the gym after work for more running on the treadmill and weights
I need to feel better in the gut again... this is awful.

Good morning! DH and I celebrated our anniversary yesterday by having brunch, checking out a local orchard/farm and getting a few items to try from their store--I got some homemade vinaigrette dressing, and we also picked up some bacon bourbon BBQ sauce--I plan on making a pulled pork roast with it. The afternoon and evening we just cozied down and watched some movies. Neither of us have been feeling well so it was perfect. Today I feel somewhat better but something is lingering in my sinuses and I have a wicked headache.
Qotd: spaghetti and meatballs hands down. I've never been a cake person, but I love love love spaghetti. I make do these days with meatballs and sauce without pasta, or zucchini noodles if they're in season, but I can't pretend I don't want to have the real stuff.
Breakfast: coffee with almond milk
snack: 2 light string cheese
lunch: 4 oz diced chicken breast with garlic parm dipping sauce
dinner: leftovers of some type. I might eat the rest of my omelette from brunch yesterday.

Good morning everyone! Happy Monday!!
QOTD - I have been craving something sweet so I'd WANT the cake; I'd be afraid it would make me sick though so would probably go for the spaghetti and meatballs -- although even pre surgery, pasta was never my thing (unless they were egg noodles slathered in butter).
Accountability - good day yesterday, stayed on track in spite of reading every snack food label at the grocery store. Surprise, no snack foods meet the protein/carb/calorie requirements so they all stayed at the grocery store, lol
8 months out, 160.5 lbs
I've planned out my food for the week, it will be boringly repetitive but I feel like it will keep me on track! I feel like the last couple of weeks of travel have tested my willpower and being ultra disciplined this week (and staying at home) will help me.
Coffee w half and half and tea all day (came home to some new herbal and decaf options!)
B - Light and Fit Greek
L - 3 oz deli turkey breast
D - 3 oz chuck roast, 1 pepperoncini, 1 slice cheddar
S - cheese stick
Exercise
I have overdone my purchases of workout classes so I'm going to have to be very focused between now and the end of the year to get them all in before they expire so I've had my first cup of coffee and I'm off to a 630 am Pilates class!
Have a magnificent monday all!

I find that I am more successful and on track, if I eat the same things and on a eat on a schedule too.
