What's on your Mondayy menu RNYers?
Hey yall back and yes I realize I spelled monday wrong- I have a case of the monday's!
I missed yall last week- I did eat like crap for 3 days and now I'm paying for it scale wise. There were food I just flat out never allowed myself like shortbread cookies and a peanut butter cup.
I did decide to meet with the personal trainer at the gym- will be this thusday. It will be to go over form and other exercises I might be missing. I will be working from home this week so that is awesome.
Food for today:
last of the chicken chili
coffee
water
water
romaine salad with tuna?
not sure on dinner yet.
QOTD: If you HAD to eat EITHER spaghetti and meatballs or cake which would you pick? I think I would go for the meatballs/spaghetti and go heavy on the meat. The cake would make me sick.
QOTD: have to go with spaghetti and meatballs... never big cake person except cheesecake.
Yesterday on my workout plan my trainer had leg presses 5 x 10 AHAP. AHAP= as heavy as possible. I did 270-320-320-340-350. Woop! Did 350# on my own. Who would have ever thought??? Considering also in the same workout totally melted down over doing simple step ups holding 30# - I considered regrouping and doing it a win.

S: Protein, apple, greek yogurt (snacks are optional)
ex: 20 min HIIT cycling, maybe yoga

Hello there! I missed you all though I did read most days. No eating on plan during our 10 day trip to Oregon and Denver! We leave for the airport in about 2 hours. I didn't even have a decent food plan for the last 10 days! In general, I did well for breakfast and lunch, but the rest of the day usually included one or more of the following: foods I usually don't eat, grazing, and/or way too many snacks. I need to go back to a strict CAMAW plan tomorrow for a lengthy period - today with traveling I think I need to include a protein bar and nuts, but if I can get something healthier in Minneapolis airport, I will.
QOTD: Oh boy - it would probably depend on the time of day and my mindset. If I was in a strong frame of mine, it would be the meatball and spaghetti and I would eat the meatball first so not so much of the spaghetti. But if not a good mindset, or late in the day, probably cake. Cake almost always calls to me.

I don't know if it helps but the wine bar in the southwest terminal in MSP has a great cheese plate; good selection and the right size!
