I love the alkaseltzer!! The citrus is my favorite. I feel like the bubbles just instantly gets in my body and makes me feel better.

Thank you!! I hope to avoid the colds this winter but know it's unlikely so being able to fall back on the night time fizzy ones will be great!!

Hello everyone:
I just came in from my morning walk with my dog. Happy Pitbull Awareness Day! My dog is a pitbull mix and of course, I had to add pictures below.
Our walk was cut short by the cold rain and wind. I wore a lot of layers, but my fingers were getting numb! I sure can understand how some of you have gotten colds.
I'm waiting for the furniture deliverymen to deliver my recliner. Naturally, it's pouring rain. I also am not crazy about tuhe time frame they gave me for delivery: "some time before noon." That really narrows things down!
QOTD: Wow, I guess I'm a real old-timer! I still believe in chicken soup. If I put my face in the steam, it clears my nose. After I eat it, I'm full, nice and warm, and ready for a nap.
MEALS FOR TODAY:
Thank you to everyone who gave me great suggestions for high protein foods that are easy on the pouch. Also, thanks for the support and "tough love" to help me to start to get past last weeks' high-carb slider food slip-up. You're not going to find many carbs in my menus going forward!
Breakfast: non-fat milk, SF chocolate syrup, protein powder
Snack: low-fat cheese slices
Lunch: lentil/zucchini penne, marinara sauce, grated romano cheese
Snack: mozarella/prosciutto roll-up
Dinner: baked haddock
