Good morning,

Had unexpectant trip to the gas station and dollar tree this morning.

Last night I fell asleep sitting up on the couch until 6 am this morning. I laid down and covered up with my throw blanket and slept for a couple hours. I asked Misty why she let me fall asleep while she was laying on me instead of going to bed.She just looked at me like I was crazy. Lol

Qotd now I don't unless I'm binge eating then I feel guilty.

B ham and cheese omelette, string cheese and English muffin

L tuna, cottage cheese and honeycrisp apple

D not sure since it's support group tonight

Have a good day

If I fall asleep in my chair, I will wake up with the cat on me. A cheap one of those weighted blankets they are selling for many dollars. We are getting it on the cheap.

Hi all! Happy Friday!

It's drizzly and misty here today. The beautiful cherry tree outside of my door is turning gold and dropping her leaves. It's such a pretty, pretty tree! I hate that she (sorry - that usually annoys me - but it really is such an extravagantly feminine tree) has to be taken down sometime soon. The person who planted this tree placed it way too close to the septic system, and if it isn't removed, the septic will be compromised. But I hate the idea nonetheless.

I bought myself a pair of tall brown boots online, as I had none which were brown, and wanted some for when I'm wearing my as-yet-nonexistent jeans. But the shafts, which supposedly are just normal sized, are enormous and stick out on the side as if I'm wearing fly-fishing waders. Back they go!

QOTD: I haven't really had much off plan. Once in a while - once every other month or so - I experience a day when I'm just so, so hungry, and it's easy for me to eat more than the 650 calories I normally stick to on those days. But I stick to the foods I always eat and don't add in carbs, sweets, etc. - I just try to quell my hunger. The only thing I've really had off my strict plan is champagne, half a flute each on Easter and on Mother's Day. If I eat out I will generally eat the non-starchy vegetables that come with my entree, and will have cream in my coffee or tea. I have enjoyed all of these things without wanting more or to have them more frequently.

The scale is behaving like a brat over the past few days - going up instead of down despite really watching what I'm eating and not going over 650 calories. I'm not having anything unusual, carbs are under 20 and protein over 60. I did see that my ankles looked slightly less defined yesterday which points to fluid retention, but today they are normal looking yet the scale is up again. I don't know what's happening. I'll take some Miralax, which I don't usually use, and see if that helps. I did have some ham and cheese for breakfast but for the rest of the day I'll leave the Boar's Head meats and cheeses alone, and won't have either shrimp or tuna either. I'll have chicken and eggs without salt, and yogurt. Hopefully that will reverse the trend. I don't think I can keep going up and hopefully will start going down again, because honestly 650 or less calories per day really shouldn't be a maintenance or gaining level for me.

This made me question whether doing AMAW was the greatest idea - I lost, but now am gaining. But who knows? I think my system is pretty delicately balanced right now so little things can throw me off, but I'm not sure what it is that is doing that. I'll just keep on keeping on and will up my fluids by another two or three mugs of tea. Come to think of it I didn't drink as much as usual over the past couple of days - maybe that's the culprit! Plus I have a slight headache, another dehydration sign.

First: 3 huge mugs of tea

B: 2.4 ounces of ham, .5 oz. of chipotle gouda

L: Chicken - not sure yet how I'll make this

D: 2 eggs, made fluffy in a mug in the microwave, with fresh-ground pepper, dried chives, and dehydrated onion

S: yogurt with a splash of Torani syrup

TEA TEA TEA TEA TEA TEA TEA TEA TEA!!!!!

Have a lovely day one and all!

Keep fighting the good fight-you've got this and the scale will listen eventually.
