Sad doggie.

My little Lucy dog is 10 years old. She came here right after I had RnY. We've lost and gained weight together.

I thought she had a UTI but she has a mass in her bladder and is showing signs of systematic cancer.

I'm so sad and shocked. I did not see it but now it can not be unseen.

I don't believe in chemotherapy for dogs. They can not consent. We'll hang out until we can't.

I didnt eat over this. Not to say that a loaf of toast has not entered my brain.

Anyway. It's ******

My Lucy and me 3 months post.

What a happy smile! That looks like a doggy who is spoiled rotten with love, and has the best life a pupper could ever hope for.

I'm so sorry. Fur babies are the best - they make us smile and love us unconditionally. I'm just so sorry.

Sorry to hear. I think you are doing the right thing with what you have chosen to do.

I love animals very much and have been in your shoes and feel your pain.

Hugs and blessings to you and your dog.

Oh, I am so sad to hear about Lucy. You must be heartbroken. But, you are very strong and brave. Very strong because you did not resort to a possible old habit of eating to comfort your pain and brave to let Lucy live out the rest of her life in your loving care.

Everyone's experiences of life events are different. But, I do have an idea of the difficult times you are going through and I feel for you.

About 1 1/2 years ago my Abyssinian girl was found to have cancer. Like you, I don't believe in chemotherapy for pets. At the time my cat was diagnosed, it was very late. I had to make the decision to put her down at the time of her diagnosis because I couldn't bear to see her suffer.

Her ashes are buried behind my house. I still tear up when I think about her or walk by her little grave marker in my yard. . .

So sorry Deb. We love our pets and they love us unconditionally. It is so hard to see them in pain and even harder to let them go.

Wish peace to you both!
