Good morning! I feel so much better this morning. Yesterday I was in such an emotional funk. I went to Portland and had my oil changed bought groceries and went to Target. I treated myself to a new fall candle and 3 boxes of fall flavored tea. I met so many kind people when I was out and about.

QOTD- I love cozy clothes, our woodstove and sleeping all warm and toasty under my feather duvet with the bedroom window open while listening to our creek flow.

Food for today- I am really trying to focus on keeping my calories and carbs as low as possible with high protein!! I will get to goal!!

Breakfast at 6:30- 2 eggs and 1/2 c. cottage cheese. ( I love this breakfast, 25 grams of protein, 250 calories)

snack at 11- Naked cow jerkey- ( no sugar, no carb or nitrates) 24 grams protein

Lunch- 2 ish 4 oz shredded chicken breast with hot sauce ( 120 calories, 26 protein)

D-I am craving fish, hoping for some grilled halibut (180 calories, 37 protein)

Vitamins and liquids always

670 calories,5 carbs,112protein

Mornin' All!

I have so much that needs to be done that I'm skipping class this morning so I can spend 6-8 hours today knocking a lot of this out. It's mostly related to the organization I chair and our two upcoming house projects - new counters/sink/faucet and a screened porch. I'll have very little free time tomorrow, and Sunday I'm leaving for Chicago (for a plastic surgeon appt on Monday morning) - so today is the day to get most of this done. I'm very stressed out - but hopefully by the end of the day I'll feel a lot better. I also have lunch with a friend today plus my second shingles vaccine this afternoon. I hope my reaction to the vaccine is better than it was the first time around!!

QOTD: Right now, I'm just looking forward to our organization's first two meetings being over (one is next weekend - the second is Nov 17). Planning two large-scale meetings within three weeks of each other is a nightmare!! And also, the kitchen project being over, which hopefully will be by the end of next week. Hopefully things will feel more normal after all of that is behind me.

3 years 4 months out:

B: homemade Greek yogurt, 1/2 mango

MS: coffee with half & half, Miralax/protein peach shake

L: meeting a friend at a Japanese place. Probably miso soup and a maki roll.

AS: either protein pumpkin pie or a L&F yogurt

D: Chinese-style chicken/vegetable stir-fry

ex: I really need to. Maybe I'll stop by the gym this morning - even 30 minutes on the stationary bike is better than nothing!

I haven't tried yet. I thought I would try a normal scrambled egg for dinner and see how that goes-LOL.
