What's on your Wednesday Menu RNY'ers?
I hope you feel better soon. This doesn't seem it can be sustained long term.

Oh no! I'm so sorry that you are having problems again. I hope that it doesn't need to be dilated again but if so, hopefully this time it will stick.

Morning all! A cool, breezy but sunny day on tap here. I plan to do a 3 mile walk at lunch today, probably the 5K route that I ran last week. I have a cyber session with my trainer this evening so I don't plan to run today, just get out of the office for a bit.
QOTD: I used to be an avid reader but I find that since WLS that I do more crossword puzzles than reading fiction. One series that I always loved is a cozy mystery series by Donna Andrews. She is a local writer and I have met her several times. Her mysteries are really funny and are set in rural Virginia. Each book has a bird reference in the title and the plot is filled with animals and a big family. If you like cozy mysteries, it is a good series to read. The latest one just came out yesterday: https://www.amazon.com/Lark-Herald-Angels-Sing-Mysteries/dp/ 1250192943/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1539776077&sr=8-1&keywords =donna+andrews+meg+langslow+mystery+series
DW & I are headed out on a short roadtrip tomorrow. I am looking forward to a break from training and being in the office. We cancelled the SB trip for last week, but I am hoping that something more low key will work better. We will visit Thomas Jefferson's Monticello and several other local historical places. We've been there before but it is a nice area. Not sure if I will be online alot for a few days, but I am packing my protein snacks to stay on track.
The scale has been pretty steady lately between some BLTs and building muscle with weight training. I've stayed about 4 pounds below goal (125) but I like to keep it under 120 (my lowest is 116.5). This morning I was 119.2, so that pleased me. That said eating out for a few days may add more sodium and fat and I'll be back up by Monday...
Accountability: I was really hungry last evening but did well with a salmon jerky snack instead of waffles or more fruit and nuts.
Menu:
B1: Isopure C&C protein shake w/ iced coffee
B2: ham, scrambled eggs
S: more ham
L: TJ's balsamic chicken, salad
S: Buddig's turkey breast packet
D: probably a TJ's salmon patty after my workout
Exercise: workout with trainer, 3 miles walk at lunch, 20-30 minutes of kickboxing video

Good Morning Peach and Menu Family!
QOTD: Our Book Club just finished reading Unwind by Neal Shusterman and we are going to read Everything I Never Told You by Celeste Ng next. Unwind was a good book with a bizarre theme. Everything I Never Told You sounds like it's going to be really interesting. Book Club, which Saralisa started and runs, meets tomorrow night.
Accountability: I did CAMAW and lost 2 pounds even though I cheated a couple times. Last night Saralisa picked up food for us from Panda Express, so that was not CAMAW compliant either. Yesterday: Protein - 92, Calories - 1,460, Carbs - 113.
B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt
L: 160 calorie meal, light & fit Greek yogurt
D: microwave meal, light & fit Greek yogurt
S: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt, frozen yogurt
E: walking dogs
Have a great day everyone!
~ Karen

I read Unwind over the holidays last year! It was a very thought provoking concept. My cousin and I do a Christmas book exchange and then lounge around in comfy clothes and read and drink tea all day :) she gifted me a secondhand signed copy :)

Karen, I read "Everything I never told you"...beautiful. The racial situations really hit home, especially with the climate we live in now.
