Hello AMAW/CAMAW Warriors! Our Challenge Week is over! How did everyone do? Inquiring minds want to know!

Please post your results on this thread. Specify if you did AMAW or CAMAW, and how much weight you lost (if you lost). If you took your measurements, feel free to note any changes there, as well - often measurements can change even when the scale is stagnant. Do you have any thoughts or observations about doing AMAW or CAMAW? Let us know!

I had a really good week, but haven't yet weighed today, so I will pop in to post my results later today, after I've stepped on the scale!

As a reminder, a few of us are going to continue AMAW/CAMAW for another few days to a week. Join us if you're feeling so inclined - the more the merrier!

And THANK YOU to everyone who decided to participate in this challenge! It's been a pleasure striving alongside of you all. You have helped to inspire me to stay focused and on track!

I just weighed. I'd been hovering around 255-257 for what seems like months. It's been at least one month. I didn't do measurements, but this morning the scale said 250.2! I'm calling it 5 lbs lost since starting AMAW.

im going to continue strict AMAW through Friday at least, and then I think I'm going to cut dairy for a while (I'll add veggies back in though, I am missing them). I think I was adding in too many calories with unmeasured cream in my coffee, cheese, etc, but to be honest, I didn't really miss any of it.

Congratulations Cassie! 5 pounds down is a fantastic result! Isn't it good to know we have this in our tool bag to pull out when we are stalled? Looking forward to this next week with you!

Thank you so much for organizing and running this AMAW/CAMAW, Cara!

I did CAMAW. I cheated a couple times. One time my daughter bought us pizza and cinnamon pull-apart rolls and I just couldn't resist. But I still lost exactly 2 whole pounds this week so I'm happy about that. (I didn't take my measurements).

Doing this challenge reminded me that cutting out sweets is not so hard once you get past the first day or so. For me, the more I eat sweets, the more I crave them, so they are definitely a slippery slope that I need to watch out for and stay away from! I was also surprised at how much lower my calories and carbs were when I was on CAMAW.

Even though I wasn't 100% compliant, I'm glad I did the challenge.

That's great, even with the cheat. I know I'm going to eat a s'more Saturday (we're having a campfire at Valas Pumpkin Patch) and I'm not even putting up the pretense of trying to resist. I'm allowing one, then I'll get right back on plan.

PS: I know it's a drive for you, but if you and Saralisa want to crash our party at Valas, you'd be more than welcome! It's a come-and-go as you please sort of thing, we've just invited everyone we know to come with their families and stop by our campfire. we'll have hot dogs for roasting and s'more fixings, and then people can wander the park as they please.
