One month
I'm one day shy of it being a month since I've had my surgery. I just wanted to say thank you to all of you that have provided such wonderful advice. I am extremely grateful to have people to share this journey with and I can't wait to see others go through the same.
25lbs down in a month and I look/feel great. People at the seminars don't believe I had this done a month ago. I can't wait to keep seeing the weight come off.

it was good, I eat it often now especially since I can chew it.

Congrats on your surgery and your loss! Just a note that the weight often comes off fast in the first few weeks but usually slows to 1-3 pounds a week pretty quickly. You may even have "stalls" where you are doing all the same things but you stop losing weight. It can be discouraging after the big loss at first. Stay protein forward, keep all carbs to a minimum, drink fluids like it's your job and measure and log everything that goes in your mouth. You can lose the weight but the surgery is only on your stomach and not your head.
All the best!

Thank you, I will keep that in mind. I'm mentally prepared for stalls, I know they will happen as well as slow downs. I will continue to eat well and hit the gym as often as my body permits me too when the time comes.

I'm at the 2-3 pounds a week mark you mentioned. I will just continue eating healthy and following the meal plan I was given. I really prepared myself for this mentally because I've seen my friends go through hell when the scale stopped dropping or was slowly dropping.
I have found it challenging to drink the 64 ounces of water. That's my real struggle right now. How did you get through that?
