What's on your Tuesday menu, RNYers?
Good morning,
I already been to work to get pictures taken by a professional. Made a eye dr appointment and thinking of taking the cat to the vet before I have to be back to work.
Qotd I have gas heat which the apartment complex provides and they have it set so you can't go past 74.
Accountability had some cottage cheese at work, ate at home last night chicken chili and had a protein bar before bed.
B ham and cheese omelette, string cheese and English muffin
L tuna, cottage cheese and honeycrisp apple
D chicken chili
S protein bar
Have a good day
G'morning menu peeps,
Well, confession time. I totally screwed up yesterday. I ate like there is no tomorrow. I don't know why or what triggered the whole episode. I just went on a binge as if I'm pre-op. Obviously I couldn't eat much but I just put in my mouth whatever I had stayed away from for the past 15-16 months. It was almost like out of body experience; I could see what I was doing and was asking WTH are you doing, but the other person was not listening. Anyway, back on track today but it really scared me that I can go back to my old self in a matter of one day. No trigger, no nothing.
QOTD: we have forced air heat with vents in all the rooms. We have an unconventional floor plan in our neighborhood. Bedrooms downstairs, kitchen and living room upstairs + master bedroom. So during colder months the kids complain it's cold downstairs but I'm dying of heat upstairs. So it's a constant struggle. We don't have AC, you can open windows even during summer and the ocean breeze is nature's AC.
Accountability: HORRIBLE, see above.
B: coffee protein
L: pulled pork
S: yogurt
D: turkey meatballs
Have a great Tuesday, everybody.

The good thing about this is that you cannot gain much real weight in one day, and stepping on the scale the next morning will make whatever the reality is very real. You are confronting that sneaky inner demon that all of us have living inside ourselves. Though it is upsetting, it shows that we aren't really cured of our tendency towards obesity - but we have learned the way to control it and keep it in check! You've done so beautifully! This was just a momentary crack in the wall of your resolveresolve. It's good to be a little scared by it because that awareness will help you to be vigilant. Hang in there! You are slim and gorgeous, and that's worth conking that demon over the head with a frying pan to preserve and protect!
"...conking that demon over the head with a frying pan to preserve and protect!" Thanks for making me laugh
I'll keep that visual in mind the next time the demon shows me her ugly face.

morning everyone,
I am late again...can't seem to find time til I get my morning work caught up lately! oh well at least I made it!
QOTD: we have gas heat and central a/c (I live in the midwest so we sometimes have the heat on in the morning and the a/c on by evening- its really ridiculous). We have a 3 level cape cod and the basement is at least 20 degrees colder than the uppermost level most of the time...we also need new windows really badly and they do not keep it insulated well in the winter months upstairs, so it gets pretty frigid even if we turn the heat up. we sleep in lots of flannel and have weighted blankets on our beds! Windows are probably the next big home improvement we will tackle--but we have so many, we need save a while before we're going to be able to work it out.
B: coffee w/sf creamer, 1/2 C cottage cheese w/small nectarine
L: leftover turkey sausage/parmesan spaghetti squash
S: 2 string cheese
D: salmon burgers or shrimp with cauliflower rice probably

Hello my RnY friends! Happy Tuesday!d
Today is the last day of our week-long AMAW/CAMAW challenge! I hope that ALL of you participating are doing great! Tomorrow let's all post our results!
it is a stunningly gorgeous day! I am considering going kayaking this afternoon. I am only hesitating because it would be in the bay rather than on the lake. It's very calm and they don't go far from shore, but I can just see myself falling in and encountering an orca or a shark! But I'll probably screw up my courage and go anyway - I can just feel a spectacular memory yearning to be made!
QITD: I have a propane stove that looks like a pretty little wood stove, an electric fireplace that I got for my cats, who love lying in front of it, and forced air. I really dislike the forced air, it makes my skin itch with dryness when I run it. I try not to have it on but it gets very cold especially in the back bedroom, so sometimes I relent.
First: three huge mugs of tea!
B: ham
L: tuna
D: beef
S: salmon
Have a wonderful day, my friends! And stay strong, my fellow AMAW/CAMAW Warriors! This is the last Challenge day!
