Whatâ??s on your Monday Menu RNYâ??ers?

I once got into having a large portion of salmon every night for dinner. One day, after eating this way for something like 2-3 weeks, I made my usual salmon dinner, and started to eat. After a couple of bites, I began coughing. I coughed and coughed violently, to the point that I actually threw up! (Sorry, I know that's gross.) I wasn't nauseated at all, but my body had absolutely had enough salmon, to the point that I didn't want to eat it at all for a long while - I don't recall just how long, but I think it was 2 to 3 years. Not just that, but I felt an aversion to all seafood, and eliminated it from my diet completely, even tuna. I was utterly turned off by it all. Seafood had always been my favorite, so this was a real departure for me. After a long break, I gradually and carefully started having it again. I think it's possible that your body knows something you don't, and it will enforce abstinence if it assesses that's important for your health. Stranger things have happened! I hope it all works out for you, though, in a fast and convenient way.
Thank you! I am grateful that my body gave me a warning sign prior to just "eliminating" the source if you know what I mean. It's funny I didn't realize that not everyone gets the whole watery mouth thing right before they throw up, when I was describing it to my hubby he thought I was crazy. But then again he is also a person that will wake up in the middle of the night and not check to see what time it is....I thought everyone checked the time (we did a FB unofficial poll about it awhile back and it was about 50/50 that do for what its worth).

Wait, people wake up and don't check the clock? I'm not sure I even understand that? So there are people that don't know the creepiness when you wake up 3-4 days in a row at the exact same minute and flash back to the Amityville Horror scene where James Brolin woke at 3:15 every morning and wonder to yourself what craziness is going on now? (or is that just me?)

Do you think it might have been an off batch of egg beaters? Hopefully it's just a short term thing, I am also liking the routine of the same things for some meals and having to change would annoy me.

If you could explain why our bodies do weird things even at 4+ years out - it would be $$...
