They went well! Just a couple of things to follow up on but it was good - see the nurse again in 3 months but the RD not for 6 months so everyone's pretty pleased!

Morning friends... I'm at work and loving every minute of it!!! I love being along got my Bobby Bones Show playing loud, door closed, hot cup of coffee and it is going to be a productive day!
QOTD: First thing I do when I wake in the AM is go right into the shower (after peeing TMI sorry) do not talk to me, do not look at me until I have had my shower. Some people it is coffee me it is a shower except on the weekends then I do allow myself a cup of coffee and then shower but during the work week I need the shower first.
Food for the day:
B: Egg muffins (I got ambitious yesterday!)
L: ham and cottage cheese
D: pork chops
S: yogurt.

Good morning, menu pals! Happy Monday!
Peach, thanks for starting us off! How exciting that you are going to be getting a cat!
It's 4:30 am and I'm nowhere ready to get up, but this is when Mia habitually wakes me up by loudly and insistently yowling. So far today, she is silent, which is great, but simultaneously makes me anxious - she is, after all, 17 years old, and not in perfect health - and so I pray she's just having an unusually good sleep. Meanwhile, her sister Kai is curled up in a little furry ball against my ribs.
Today is Day 6 of AMAW/CAMAW! Wow, this time has flown! Yesterday I entered the 140's, hallelujah! I'm still in bed now and haven't yet weighed myself today. I am impressed with this week of AMAW - it really has helped me break through my stall! We officially have just today and tomorrow left of the challenge week (though I, Cassie, and Liz are continuing for a bit longer, and anyone else who wishes to extend doing AMAW/CAMAW with us is of course welcome to do so!). But regardless of whether you choose to extend or not, please let us all know how you did during this week by calculating and reporting your results on Wednesday!
Mia has woken, loudly announcing her return from Dreamland. Now she is eating, then she will sleep again for a bit, before rising at around 7 and imperiously demanding a change of scenery and fresh food. My infallible little alarm clock!
QOTD: Mia usually wakes me several times every night. When she wakes me at 7-ish, I get up and she and her sister Kai follow me down the hall to the kitchen, where I give them fresh water and a fresh can of food. Then I open all the blinds and turn on the little heater they love to lie in front of.
Then I may go back to bed to read emails and if time permits, post here before my workday begins. Or I post later, depending. If I don't go back to bed, I weigh myself, shower, dress, and make myself a pot of tea to begin the day!
First: three huge mugs of tea!
B: salmon
L: steak
D: salmon with a little sesame/ginger dressing
S: either a little more steak, or a tuna packet
I'm also going to prepare two flank steaks today - I will make these in the slow cooker until they're the very tender texture of pulled pork.

Thank you Sheila! You reached the 140s before meme, but here we are together now! I spent some time in front of the mirror this morning, and decided that I definitely need a facelift, and sooner rather than later. I'm going to need a pretty complete makeover - a 200+ pound loss leaves its traces, and they aren't pretty. I'm guessing this will all cost in the neighborhood of $50k, but I could be completely off, and I'm not yet ready to have a consult. I don't have much to put into this, so I am going to have to double down on saving! I also hate the idea of the pain and aftercare until I heal, but I would still do it all in a heartbeat!
From the few pics I've seen of you, you are beautiful and no need to improve...but that's me.

Good morning everybody. We are going to see the Eagles at the United Center tonight. I am excited, I have never seen them play. Less exciting, I have an early morning flight tomorrow. So Monday night will be a very short one. Oh, well I can sleep on the plane.

Breakfast: Turkey meatballs and cottage cheese
Snack: Dannon light and fit
Lunch: boiled egg

Dinner: will have to pick something up at the store next to my office.
