Thanks. He had a hard life but I am so glad that we had 3 years with him where he was truly loved in spite of his issues.

HW - 299 , Consult day weight - 277, Day of surgery ( 11/19/2014) - 259,LW - 178, GW - 195, CW- 194.2 - reached goal
Janet, sorry about Holmes. It's so difficult to let them go. I always remember our vet telling us "you are keeping her for you not for her" when the time had arrived and we didn't wanna let go. My heart goes out to you, your DWand the rest of the kitties.

Thanks so much Sheila. After the vet evaluated Holmes and saw his lab values, we just decided that trying to hold on to him for a few more days just wasn't best for him.
