I can't believe that it is almost time for your trip. Time flies. Always good to hear from you and get caught up on how things are going.

Hi Janet - both boys are doing well. They both go to college about 30 minutes from the house, Ryley stays on campus and Alex at home. We have a routine with Ryley , we have an extra key for his car so we do the car swap thing with laundry , food etc. Thanks for asking.

Good morning~ I had a very nice weekend. It was a nice mix of taking care of business and relaxation ending with a great game and win for the Pats last night! Today is back to normal weekday routine, kicking ass and taking names, lol!

QOTD - First thing I do is get on the scale! Well, after peeing and spitting a few times for good measure! It is literally what gets me out of bed - good bad or ugly.

Accountability - Traded out my planned dinner for a protein pancake. It came out so good! My sweet tooth was satisfied and I was full for the rest of the night.

Shauna, meant to add that mice coming in the house as the weather gets cooler is really a pain. I put traps in our utility room because even though we have 5 (now 4) cats, they aren't very good at upholding their end of the contract. Three of the cats are curious about the movement when the mouse runs but only one cat really catches the mice and eliminates the problem!

most of our really good mousers are gone :-( Fortunately, we still rarely see mice - dead or alive. We just know they're there because they leave their "calling cards" in the cupboards and drawers. Last winter DH found a dead one in one of the cats' water bowls, though. Ugh. They sometimes put their cat toys in the water bowl - so evidently they thought the mouse was some kind of toy...

Our cats "baptize" their toys too! Always makes me laugh!

Good morning menu buddies! What a fine Monday this is so far. I can say that, probably because I don't work... those that go back, I hope it is still fabulous. I was crazy busy this weekend so never got in to post. But it was a fun birthday weekend. My husband took me shopping and I got a bunch of new clothes that actually fit!

Qotd: I take out my dental sleep device thing and do my jaw exercises. Then I lay back down until I can put the corrector in. That is the state I am in now.

Accountability: A little all over the place. I tried to keep it protein forward. And for birthday stuff I succeeded. But I also babysat last night and me and the kids snacked while watching baseball and playing board games. Nothing crazy, but still unplanned.

Bf: 1 hard boiled egg, 1 slice homemade bread

MS: babybel, protein water

L: 4 Turkey meatballs, 1 slice homemade bread

AS: epic Turkey snack stick, babybel

D: leftover turkey stuffed Acorn squash

Goals: 1000 calories, 100g protein, 100oz water, 1hour treadmill, all vitamins

G'morning all!

Glorious Monday. I always feel better about Mondays when I was able to catch up during weekend and start Monday fresh - work wise. It's like I'm READY for the week no matter what is thrown at me.

QOTD: I don't need to get up super early but the alarm goes off at 6:00 since DS has declared his independence and doesn't want me to check on him for waking up or making his lunch. So I lay in bed listening for his noise to make sure he is up, showering and making his lunch. Some would call me helicopter mom, but at least I'm hovering quietly without him knowing. I also catch up with DD (due to time difference) and her messages during the night. After DS leaves at 7:00 that's when I get up: coffee, feeding Luna, news, emails, and general catch up.

Accountability : awesome

B: coffee protein

L : chicken skewers

S: parm cheese

D: seafood kabobs

Have a great Mon everybody.
