What's on your Saturday menu RNYers?
I am lucky that I have a beautiful view from my office, Millennium Park, Grant park, Soldier Field Lake Michigan and the shore all down to Indiana.

Morning everyone! Sorry about Holmes (cute name BTW). Sounds like you have some uplifting activities to hopefully balance out the sadness of losing Holmes.
so I had my annual bariatric follow up. It went well. The nutritionist told me they are doing taping a of testimonials next week and asked if I'd be willing to participate. I said yes, it sounds like this will be promotional material used mostly for social media. We'll see what- if anything they use of me for. The doc was happy but gave his usual cautionary tale burnout and weight gain. He even said that if I felt like I needed a weight loss med we could discuss options- since over time gain is more likely and he say a combination of methods is sometime necessary. I told him I'd see where I stand in six months and consider then if necessary.
Qotd: nope, no fall activities planned. A coworker asked if I wanted to go apple picking-- I'm not that interested in that, but my sister says I need to make a greater effort to make friends. So if she reaches out today I'll go. Fall makes me want to bake-- but no good would come of that.
210 today, 3.6 years out
m1: boiled egg, plantains, turkey sausage
m2: curry chicken and cabbage
m3: pork chop and salad

Good morning~ Sorry to hear about Holmes, Janet ;( I didn't sleep well last night. I woke up around 1am and stayed awake for hours which is so unlike me. I was able slept in until 7 and feel good. Today I am swimming, getting a pedi, going to Traders Joe's and Target. I have little things around the house, but just a nice easy day. Also ISO a new swimsuit today- mine is too loose. I overestimated the fit/size or it stretched out - either way I need a better fitting suit.
QOTD - We (and I mean Rob) decorated the house -inside and out - hung lights, put out all our spooky cute porch stuff, candles and pumpkin stuff everywhere. He even has his pumpkin carving all planned! I'd like to go to Cambria next weekend to see the scarecrows all over town. It's a fun/cute Halloween thing there every year. While I'm out that way I'll visit my parents grave.
Accountability - there were a few tbsp of peanut butter. Although it no longer agrees with me and I end up with regrets, it sure tastes good.
22mo out - 157.7
b-coffee x 3, yogurt
l-chicken breast
d-'chicken enchiladas' Rob's recipe, but mine is w/out tortillas
s- jello w/whipped cream
v/l - on track

Have a great day!!

He makes red sauce chicken enchiladas. He cooks the chicken in the crock pot ALL day first. Then he assembles casserole style using corn tortillas, cheese and olives. Mine will be just chicken and cheese but I have never had more tender melt in your mouth enchiladas in my life. Can't wait for dinner - I'm totally drooling now!!

I am still amazed at how quickly sizes drop once we reach a certain point. Plus I am finding it difficult to know which size to order online, so I totally relate to not judging correctly what size suit to order! even the size charts often result in clothing which is too big on me, though I'm not sure why. I was still wearing my pre-op clothes last the point of losing 100 pounds, but now I keep inching downwards. I bought two beautiful wrap blouses, one in medium and one in small, earlier this year. Never even wore them, and now both are too big and don't look good on me anymore. the same is true for a few skirts, and all were purchased at regular retail. Bummer! I don't really love thrifting online cause I end up too often not returning things in a timely way if they aren't what if hoped for, but I am really watching that now. I still have to buy myself a couple of pairs of jeans, but beyond that I will wait until I hit goal and beyond, to buy more things.
Your house sounds so cute, bedecked for Halloween! I am loving my Pumpkin Cupcake candles. Have a beautiful time in Cambria! I so wish I lived closer to my parents graves. This time of year is my favorite for remembering loved ones who have gone before us into the Great Mystery. I feel funny saying "enjoy your visit", because I know there is pain there too, but...enjoy your time with them.
