2 months post op!
Hello all,
My 2 month post op was on the 7th and I am so happy to say that I've hit Onederland! Now I'm running away from the 200's as fast as I can.
The last two months have been amazing and frustrating at the same time. I'm getting to know the person I want to be, both healthy and fit. I have a great support system which makes a huge difference for me.
I've lost over 20 inches in the past 2 months. I have gone from size 18 to 13/14 and XL shirts to size Large. I had to make new notches in my belt and can shop in my own closet but buying new stuff is fun too. Not too much though because there is still a ways to go.
Bypass is so different than the Band. I'm so much more comfortable every day of my life.
I'm not on here as much as I'd like but try to check in at least once a wee****il next time!
Sounds like you are doing well, and glad to hear you got rid of the band.

The best thing I have ever done for myself was to have my band removed and revising to bypass. I am so glad you are being so successful and loving life! 20 inches in 2 months is crazy, right? Congratulations!!
Like you I started at a size 18-20 and now can fit into a size 6 and medium top! It's hard to wrap my head around all of the changes but I am loving it. Enjoy your journey!!

Your belt comment brought back fond memories. I loved getting out my drill and making new notches on my belt when I was in the losing phase.
Keep up the good work!!

Thank you for posting. I am scheduled to remove the band on Nov 15 and I will have the bypass in March. I love hearing stories like all of yours. It's so helpful and encouraging and I feel like I can do this too and I can't wait to get out of the 200's. Good for you and keep up the good work. So happy for ya !!
