What's on your Photo Friday Menu RNY'ers?
I love your kitty! If my dog wasn't such a galoot -- he's 84 lbs -- I would consider getting another Abyssinian kitten. My previous Abyssinian girl died recently.
But, because my dog is mostly a terrier (pitbull mix), he likes to chase after little, scampering, furry things. At least my previous Abyssinian cat was full grown, older, and wiser. She used to tease my dog and make him chase her, then she would suddenly jump out of his pathway and he would go crashing into a piece of furniture or a table! And she just walked away laughing. But, I don't think a 1-lb, innocent kitten would have a chance with him!

She's 9 months. She was surrendered with a broken leg by someone who couldn't afford to bring her to the vet. It had already healed on its own by then and the vets at the shelter felt it was better to leave it alone rather than re-break it to set it straighter. It seems to not affect her AT ALL. She can jump all over the place without problems.

no pics today - I just can't.
so last night as we were getting ready for bed- no water... not sure what is happening at the well (we have our own water) so now we are trying a few things this morning then getting an expert out. we did have some jugs of tap water AND spring water from the local spring just in case so I can have COFFEEE. So I've made 2 calls so far and we reset the power and we are going to check the well to see if the pump went out. I swear if anything else goes wrong with this house....
weekend plans- propane guy coming today to cut the lines for our 2 fireplaces. We have 2 ventless fireplaces that we cannot use as they have no flue so we are getting the lines cut for safety as there is no cutoff at the fireplace. more money- sign
tomorrow we are going to FIL house and installing a toilet. I want to take john to a special sushi place but we will see how that plays out.
sunday no plans as of yet, will see how the water issue plays out - we may be at my moms house instead.
