What's on your Wednesday Menu RNY'ers?
i love having a day off during the week-- cause now we're already at midweek-- yesss! So today will hopefully be the last warm/muggy day. I'd love for it to feel like fall. I'm running the A/C at times still and need a break before the heating bill**** This afternoon I have a school tour with my son. He'll need to take the subway to my job to meet me, this will be the first time he's done it alone, so I'm a bit anxious.

I'm with you Peach - ready for some coolers temps. Hopefully, we will get our wish after one more day of hot, humid and sticky! Sending good vibes your way as your son takes his trip solo to your workplace!
Our first secure status drill with the students and sheriff's department was a huge success! The kids were awesome and followed every direction we gave them. It was not scary or stressful. They were rock stars and I am so proud of my little elementary school out in the country.
QOTD: Share your latest non-scale victory. Yesterday we were permitted to wear jeans to school because of the drill. The last pair of jeans I bought were a size 12. As I was running with the children to our rally point (safe area) they started falling down. I had to hold them up. I knew they were big but it just hasn't been a priority to buy new jeans. When I got home from school and told my husband about the drill he said, 'Jump in the car, we are going to get you smaller jeans." Off we went and now I am the proud owner of a size 6 pair of Levi's. SIZE SIX!!!!!!! I simply cannot wrap my head around this. My husband even said I have a bit of a thigh gap now... wow!
