Pre-op Liquid Diet
The liquid diet is definitely difficult but it helps you to focus on what is to come. Hold on and enjoy the ride!
You can't measure your achievements with someone else's yardstick!

Hi Jeanie B . . .
I had my RNY on 8/20/18 so my 2-week pre-op liquid diet wasn't too long ago. I can feel your pain!
But, you will survive . . . you're in the home stretch of the pre-op diet moving full steam ahead to the new adventures of the post-op diet.
I hope your surgery goes well! Best wishes on your ongoing WLS journey!!
Best Wishes on your WLS Tuesday. Friendly warning re gum chewing just before surgery: this week, my DH had a medical procedure cancelled due to accidently swallowing gum the same morning (?hunger reflex?). The surgical team said they viewed swallowed gum more dangerous than food when it came to the possibility of it lodging in the lung when "put asleep."
Hello Jeanie - I just started my Optifast pre op diet today - yes, it sure is no joke! I have similar weight lose to do - I'm at 300 (never thought I would get that big, ever!) and goal is 160. My surgery is on Oct 22 - nervous, but so ready and need to make a change in my diet and lifestyle.
Good luck!
Sunny
