Good morning everyone~ Its FINALLY Friday. I though October was going to be calmer than September at work but so far that is not the case. Things did settle down yesterday and I'm okay, just have lots of changes to make and lots of work to do. So happy it's a 3 day weekend and that we are leaving to see my son tomorrow morning.
QOTD - I am very grateful for my son, husband and my health. Complaints aside, lol, I really love my life and know I am very blessed.
Accountability - switched out dinner - had gyro in a bowl
22+mo out 159.3 -it has to be the gym and the high sodium yesterday - ugh.

l-turkey breast
d-egg foo young
es-yogurt
v/l - on track

QOTD: I'm thankful that I make enough to pay my bills. That my Mother is alive and is doing relatively well. For Sammy my cat, Toughy my horse, and the mystery cat. That I have good friends I can depend on and who will always help me.
I had a good appointment with the WLS and they did my body composition and the results were very close to my $29.99 Renpho scale from Amazon. My BMI is now 33.4 still obese but far from MO. They are very pleased with my progress down 90lbs since 1/23/18. The only negative was I've lost about 4lbs lean body mass, but she wasn't concerned as it is probably as a result of not being able to eat for the last week or so. Back on track with my logging and will work on getting 75g protein a day + vitamins.
Working from home today so much lower stress. Have a great Friday everyone!
Sammy on the right is saying "I am not amused"
I was going to mow my lawn today but it just started raining so that's not going to happen. Oh well maybe when it stops raining, hopefully before July. (I live in rainy Oregon so you never know.)

I got really down the other day. I had looked in the mirror while at training and I felt like nothing had changed. I have lost nearly 75lbs but part of me felt like I looked the same. I did this thing online where you put in your weight and height and proportion and it shows you a model of what you can look like at your goal weight. Well, I put it in my starting weight and my current weight and there was really no change in the model. I felt disheartened and a little bit like, no matter what I do, I will always look like a did at nearly 300lbs. I was crying when my husband got home that night. So he pulled out his phone and brought up 2 pictures, one of me from my heaviest on our honeymoon (Blue shirt), and the other of me in the same spot a couple months ago (Red shirt).
I was surprised. He also reminded me that I have lost another 10 lbs since the more recent picture was taken.
Qotd: As I have been every Thanksgiving season for the past 11 years I am so thankful for Karl, my husband. I am always amazed by his patience, understanding, and strength.
Accountability: Yesterday was okay. Way behind on water and I skipped training. My stomach was extra cranky though so I decided just to stay home and sleep.
Bf: Leftover Vanilla Protein Pancakes, 1t margarine, 2T sugar free raspberry preserves
MS: Premier Protein Shake
L: Grabbing a bite from the food court on my home from Yoga, I am thinking chicken quiche or a grilled chicken sandwich/ no bread
AS: Babybel, Protein Water
D: Leftover Slow cooker Asian Pork Tenderloin
Probably something else while I watch the baseball games...Not sure what though, pork rinds?
Goals: 1000calories, 100g protein, 100oz water, 1 hour treadmill, 1 hour yoga, all vitamins
Pictures, the before and after my husband used the other day to cheer me up. Red Shirt is 215 lbs in July, Blue shirt is 284lbs in 2012.
Wow! Huge difference. Just stick to it.

hey everyone, happy Friday!
this week has been SO EFFING LONG! i swear it's felt like 2 whole weeks instead of 1.
DH and I have our anniversary date night planned for tomorrow. we are dropping off Story at my parent's house and we have an appointment at the tattoo parlor for 4:00 to get our ring finger tattoo's...DH's ring has not fit him since about 1 month post op and mine barely stay on even with the fancy dancy ring sizer thing I got on amazon so we figured this would be easiest. once we are both at maintenance we can get our rings re-sized.
I am excited, I have not gotten a new tattoo in about 6 or 7 years and I really want one!!! I know its just gonna be a small one but it's fun! I am also gonna see about the next big one I want to get on my forearm- just to get an estimate.
QOTD: I am infinitely thankful for having WLS and that DH had it also. it has already completely changed our lives and our relationship for the better. So thankful this surgery has allowed us to get control of our health and hopefully ensure we can be around longer for our daughter--and be able to enjoy all the things we were jus****ching from the sidelines before!
B: L&F greek yogurt, lots of coffee w/sf creamer
L: turkey chili w/tbsp sour cream
D: chicken taco salad
S: maybe string cheese and a turkey stick if i get hungry before I leave work- 2 more hours and I am still pretty full from lunch so I may not need it.
pics: progress pic of my daughter's "Colorful dragon" costume for halloween. I have a way to go but I just started it last night.
And I made my hair Blue on Sunday--I got that temporary hair wax stuff on amazon and it is SO FUN! washes right out and it works on even dark hair!
HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEKEND EVERYONE!
