tippy cracks me up- Our itty sits like that with DH- he puts a pillow between legs then a blanket and he sleeps there while we watch tv.

Mornin'

DH is at the lawyer's office signing a couple of trust-related documents that had to be revised (mine were all OK - no revisions needed). Finally, it's all DONE!! Then we're headed out for coffee, then we're meeting up with one of the development people at our local NPR affiliate for a studio tour and lunch. After that..?? I really need to finish up some odds and ends - it's shaping up to be a cold and rainy day, so maybe I'll just stay in and do some of that..

QOTD: I'm feeling very thankful that I decided to retire in July. Retired life is great! (although things haven't slowed down since I left - WTH???). My stress level is down, I love being able to meet up with people for lunch or coffee whenever I want to, and I love taking these non-credit funsy classes during the day. I LOVE IT!!!

Weight finally dropped - I was down 1.5 lbs this morning. THANK GOD (so I guess I'm thankful that my weight is down, too!). Lunch out today, so I need to be careful the rest of the day so my weight won't bounce up again. What a battle!

3 years 4 months out:

B: homemade coconut Greek yogurt with 1/2 mango

MS: coffee with half & half, protein shake

L: probably a salad or cup of soup & side salad

AS: L&F yogurt with strawberries

D: not sure. Maybe blackened chicken breast with vegetables again

G'morning all!

Peach, you look stunning! I love the dress and that color on you.

TGIF, yesterday I was on the road for 5 hours for a 30 minutes meeting. Thank god I charge the commute time too because otherwise it wouldn't have been worth it. Traffic is getting worse and worse in Silicon Valley and nobody uses the public transportation. Not that we have much of it and not that it would work for me who comes from far. Oh well, that's life for now.

QOTD: so very thankful for my little family. DH is the best match for me, DD is happy in Italy with her studies and adventures, DS is "chill" and doesn't complain about anything except when I get on his back about being too chill. LOL

Accountabilty: I'm dying here but hanging in with the 4th day of AMAW

Good Morning and it's Fri-YAY. The day at work should fly by as we were given the official approval to start having meetings with our direct reports regarding the changes that are in the works-I hope they all take the news positively but any change can cause anxiety.

QOTD: I am thankful for so much in my life, hubby and daughter are at the top of that list.

Time since surgery: 4 years 1 month

B: SF latte, eggbeaters, ½ an orange and 2 turkey sausage links

L: Albacore lettuce wraps and baby carrots

S: Buddig black forest ham lettuce wraps, carbmaster cottage cheese, and iced latte bar

D: Grilled chicken breast on top of TJ spiral carrots with alfredo sauce and mozzarella cheese, spinach salad with Walden farms ranch and crumbled bacon, sliced fruit, and 2 squares dark chocolate

ES: Homemade Greek yogurt with SF syrup and ¼ cup fiber cereal

E: An hour stair climber this morning and 40 mins of elliptical at lunch

V/W: On track

Just as an example of the treats I spoke about earlier...

Since today is a PD day and people were feeling especially generous and happy, I came in today to find on my desk:

  • a giant pumpkin spice Rice Krispie treat;
  • a bag of Kettle Corn;
  • a mug filled with chocolates;
  • and a homemade chocolate chip muffin.

It's only 9:33am, people! Save me!
