Good Morning Peach and Menu Family!

QOTD: I'm very happy with my RNY surgery!

Accountability: Hillary, you may be right, I may be eating too many calories and the wrong kinds of calories. I've been indulging in things like donuts, apple crisp, etc. I'm up 1.4 lbs. today. (I hadn't weighed in a few days). Today's weight: 141.4. I also have to admit that even though I put "walking dogs" down for exercise, I have not been doing that much at all since we got our third dog, because it's just too hard to walk 3 dogs at once. I need to work on cutting back on the sweets and also figuring out a way to walk my dogs or do other exercise.

Yesterday: Protein - 96, Calories - 1,410, Carbs - 116.

B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, banana, light & fit Greek yogurt

L: chili, banana, light & fit Greek yogurt

D: microwave meal, light & fit Greek yogurt

S: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt, frozen yogurt

E: walking the dogs?

Have an awesome day everyone!

~ Karen

Karen, you've got this! Could you walk the dogs separately for a shorter distance with each one?

Thanks, Kelly! I'll try that with the dogs. I don't know if they will let me just take one at a time, though. LOL.

I Know what you mean about walking 3 dogs - it's tough! Rob does it all the time, but I cannot handle all 3 on my own.

Morning! Well, I'm having an irritatingly difficult time getting my diet back on track. Boy that grazing have it is sure hard to get control of again. And my blood sugar crashed yesterday which didn't help. Anyway....

Qotd- I picked bypass because it had the most successful statistics and I had a lot of weight to lose. It just made sense to me that if I was going to do this that I might as well go all in. Plus I knew myself well enough to know that I was going to need as much imposed restriction as possible. I don't have any regrets so far but I do wonder if someday I will regret not being able to have NSAIDS. Arthritis runs very heavily in my family and I was having some mild symptoms even before my weight loss surgery. But of course pretty much nothing is as bad for your joints as weighing 375 lb so... no, still no regrets.

B- sausage, egg, and cheese stuff, coffee

L- leftover taco salad from last night

S- if I need a snack I have some leftover frittata in the refrigerator. But I ate breakfast late and so that will make lunch late and I may not need a snack. Definitely tea or a cup of coffee

D- Italian chicken thighs, zucchini, butternut squash, brussell sprouts

S-greek yogurt and tea

News to share for yogurt lovers...a favorite yogurt of mine is now available in an individual-sized serving...Walmart brand Great Value whole milk plain Greek yogurt. Protein 15g, sugar 6g, calories 90, one ingredient with no fillers, and priced at 76 cents. Nuts, berries, or flavored packets of ?whatever? are good mix-ins. QOTD: luck would have it, my WLS surgeon recently starting performing the DS. Because of my SSMO, I surely would have been a willing candidate for that instead.

Good morning everyone~ It's raining, yay! But I'm bummed that it's warm/muggy - so not really a sweater and boots day... oh well, thin sweater will have to do. Another good day yesterday. Work, home, food and gym all good. My son called last night, he found out his favorite aunt on his dad's side passed away and he was upset...which rolled into everything else - all of his stress and anxiety in general. I was able to help some with words of wisdom over the phone, but it's not the same. We are going to see him this weekend and it couldn't be at a better time because he needs some serious hugs from his mama! I can't wait to see him and spoil him for a couple days - I miss his face so much!!

QOTD - I had originally wanted VSG, but the surgeon said no due to my GERD. It was a blow at first, but now I am thrilled to have had RNY over VSG. It took some trial and error to get used to and working around some minor issues or advantages - depending on how you look at them (like dumping)...but I am really happy now and wouldn't change a thing.

Accountability - spot on!

22+mo out 156.9

b-coffee x3, yogurt w/blackberries and strawberries

l-turkey and dill pickle

d- eggs

es - yogurt

v/l - on track

e - yoga class

Have a great day!

Sorry you can't be there right now to give him hugs but I am glad that you get to see him this weekend.

Thanks, Kelly. It's tough when your kid struggles - I know you understand that!
