My trainer is amazing... totally credit him with how well I have done post shoulder surgeries. He is a Certified Exercise Physiologist- He knows his stuff. I work remotely with him now.

Good Morning Peach and Menu Family!

QOTD: When I was a kid my elderly dentist had a framed picture of his Dental Graduating class hung on the wall. He had put a big black magic marker "X" across the faces of each class member who had died. Since he was old, most of them had already died. I thought it was hilarious!

I didn't actually see this hung in someone's house, but I framed it for them to hang in their house. When I worked at the Frame Shop, a lady brought a large shadow box with a huge wreath in it to have the cracked glass replaced. The wreath was entirely made up of little flowers and leaves woven out of HUMAN HAIR! It had been made during the pioneer days and it included hair from the entire family, so there was black, brunette, light brown, red, blonde and gray hair. When I took the cracked glass off to replace it, the wreath smelled horrible! In those days, they rarely washed their hair, so I imagine not all the hair used in that wreath was clean.

Accountability: Yesterday: Protein - 97, Calories - 1,360, Carbs - 114.

B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, apple crisp, light & fit Greek yogurt

L: 160 calorie meal, light & fit Greek yogurt

D: microwave meal, light & fit Greek yogurt

S: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt

E: walking at Walmart

Have a great day everyone!

Good morning everyone. I haven't posted in a while. This past month has been very stressful and sad. They found my brother in law dead and my husband is not dealing well with it. It has definitely put a black cloud of sadness over our family. Grief is so emotionally draining.

I am committed to posting my menu every day. My husband is working out of town this week and I thought it would be a perfect time to do CMAW. I see my surgeon in 6 weeks for my 2 year check up.

QOTD- I went to a friends house once and she has her cat litter box under her dining room table. It just really grossed me out. We were sitting there drinking coffee and you can hear the cat digging away, yuck!!!

Accountability- I ate french fries yesterday. I have got to get off the carb train!!!

B- 2 eggs with 1/2 c. cottage cheese

L-4 oz shredded chicken breast with hot sauce

D- grilled halibut

S- chomps or light and fit greek yogurt

Lots of water today!! vitamins on track as always. I had lab work done last week to check my ferritin and it has gone from 12 to 213!!! I have diligently taken my proferrin iron and it is working. It makes me happy!

Be strong today everyone and kind to yourself

So sorry for your family's loss. Grief, and the grief of those you love, can be so exhausting. Wishing your husband and the entire family well.

Congratulations on turning your ferritin around so dramatically! That is excellent!
