That is so funny they ask for proof. I have taken people on and off my Costco membership as #2 many times and they never asked for proof. I recently took my son off as he isn't using it in India and put my girlfriend on.

Morning menu folks! What a nice weekend we had. I did 4 hours of heavy gardening and yard work each day and the yard looks much nicer. I still have a few things to do yet--cutting up larger limbs, pulling up ivy off our bank and bagging up some leaves. Other than that everything will need to wait until after we have a good freeze. I wore long pants and long sleeves this time so I'm not as scratched up. It's hard but satisfying work.

Today I get my third trainee. It will be a challenge to keep up with three folks but I hope it will be successful.

Today is supposed to be warm and sunny, so I hope to get out for a 45 minute walk at lunch before I meet the new guy for lunch. I'm also thinking about doing an hour of laps tonight or Aqua Zumba for stress relief.

Menu:

B1: Isopure C&C protein shake w/ iced coffee

B2: scrambled egg, turkey sausage patty

S: Chomps

L: ?

S: Buddig's turkey packet, apple

D: chicken breast

Exercise: walk & swim

QOTD 1. A live decorated Christmas tree up in August. Very dusty.

2. A house with a million things on the wall and every piece was slightly off level but in a different way from all others. I was so dizzy.

Today I ate a Starbucks salad with cauliflower and chicken. That was a couple of meals. Also got a draft cold brew. A coffee drink with NO calories and I love it. That a good thing. I ate yogurt with bran, peanut butter, and a banana with peanut butter. No sugar today.

Good morning,

I had a good weekend except for yesterday I almost got hit by a car crossing the road. I was almost across and this young guy didn?t look my way and started to pull out of the drive of my apartment complex. I screamed watch it, then he looked and slammed on the brakes. So I was pretty shaken then I had to drive my friend hour and half to the VA complex so she could catch the shuttle to Detroit this morning. She?s having a total hip replacement tomorrow morning. I?m very nervous about her having it so far away from home but she?s a veteran so she has to go where they say to have it covered. If you can pray for her, I would appreciate it.

I have a appointment with the bariatric dr this morning to get my binge eating medication and to see how I?m doing. I was down on my scale so hopefully I?ll be down on theirs. Back to work by 1 pm.

Qotd only thing I can think of is when I was moving in my ex boyfriend, in his bedroom there were chicken bones on the floor and I told him I wasn?t going to live liked that.

I just remembered another one, when I was doing homecare, I was taking care this woman and her son was gay. When we went upstairs for her to shower, there was naked pictures on the wall of gay men together.

My friend lives downtown and there is a building with a face on it and windows are the eyes, either they had the blinds closed on one window but it looked liked it had a black eye. Finally after sitting in the recliner, I moved over to the couch by her, the face was creeping me out.plus I wanted to people watch on the street below. Also watched aero med helicopter land on the hospital. Lots of excitement down there to see.

B ham and cheese omelette and string cheese

L tuna, cottage cheese and honeycrisp apple

D ribs and broccoli

Have a good day

Mornin' All!

I had a good weekend. Yesterday I went to a shoe outlet to get some athletic shoes to wear next week when I start step one of my water fitness instructor training. My current athletic shoes are Saucony walking shoes - I love them, but walking shoes are too heavy and clunky for what's essentially doing aerobics on the pool deck. Both the salespeople I talked to recommended running shoes - lighter weight and more cushioning. So I bought a pair of Brooks Ghost 11's. Love them. But of course when I got home and got on the internet, I read a lot of people wear cross-trainers for such things. ARRGGGHH (not ARRRGGH cross-trainers, but ARRGGH as in here we go again...). I shot off an email to my Aqua Zumba instructor to ask her what she wears (haven't been to class since before my plastic surgery). Hopefully these Brooks will do the trick. I really do like them...

I have a dentist appt this morning, lunch with friends, and a board meeting tonight. Lots of little things to tie up today, too....

QOTD: two things come to mind 1) one friend has a life-size ceramic (??) colorfully-painted cow in her foyer. It's really whimsical and fun, but definitely "different" 2) another friend, whom we cat sit for when she's out of town, is a hoarder. Her apt is...unbelievable. Overwhelming. I have no idea where I'd even start in there. I'm definitely NOT a good housekeeper, but I don't know how anyone can live like that!

3 years 3 months out:

B: homemade Greek yogurt with chocolate protein powder and raspberries

MS: coffee with half & half, Miralax/protein shake

L: the place we're going has chili, so I'll probably get a cup of that and a side salad

AS: L&F yogurt with high fiber cereal

D: blackened chicken breast and a TJ's vegetable/quinoa medley

ex: yes I should. Maybe hit the gym and do the cross-trainer

Good Morning Menu Peeps... back from a very long week. My nephew is back home after his run in with three blood clots and I have to take him to the Doctor today for his first follow up.

QOTD: What immediately came to mind was a friend of my ex-husband's who had a pet monkey and this six foot tall cage in his kitchen. It was disgusting.

B: Fairlife latte, overnight oats w/protein

L: salad w/chicken and apple

D: Boneless Chicken thigh - recipe TBD, cauliflower rice

S: Protein drink, egg w/1 sl toast, my fiber hot cereal mix w/protein (I have been hungry, plus exercise... so planning all the snacks- they may or may not get eaten)

EX: Trainer has me rowing a 5k today and doing 90 pushups (in intervals)... I love the challenge! That is actually not the most pushups I have done in a day. One day I accumulated 200 goblet squats holding a 25lb DB, and 160 pushups during the course of same workout. I usually come down to about 6-8" from the floor not all the way but on my toes- not on knees. WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT????? I have never done real push-ups in my life and here I am post 2 shoulder surgeries at 60 doing push-ups. They ain't always pretty, but I am doing them.
