good morning everyone, happy Friday and all that!
I am currently at the desk for my co-worker, but it has been a relatively steady morning and I am mostly caught up so taking a minute to post!
QOTD: I think the toughest decision I had to make was destroying the last embryo we had in storage after IVF...we were paying $500 / year to keep it and thought we would have used it before I turned 40 but last year we decided that I would probably never lose the weight I needed to have a healthy pregnancy and they never would have approved me at that size...and I didn't want to be over 40 having a newborn, especially as large as I already was. We decided Story would be an only child and that was it. I still think about it, wondering what that baby might have been like...but I can't dwell...I don't REALLY want to go through all that again, and I am happy with my little family...I wish Story could have a sibling but she is already almost 4 so even if we did have another one, their age difference would be too great to make much of a difference during their early childhoods anyway.
B: HB egg and 1/2C cottage cheese, coffee w/SF creamer as always
L: 3oz chicken breast chopped up with some lettuce and light ranch/mayo
S: greek L&F and/or string cheese- I brought both just in case
D: not sure--DH is cooking!
Pics: Muppets Animal hat I made for my nephew's halloween costume- finished it last night! Me feeling like fall in my awesome witch hat, my adorable little family last weekend and Me and Story in Fizban's nest on Sunday (her imaginary dragon)

Mornin!
No classes today. I took one of the cats to the vet this morning for his annual exam, and a contractor is coming to our house later on this morning to get the ball rolling on our screened porch project. Yay!!
Qotd: there have been a few, but I guess deciding to move from north Carolina to Wisconsin when I was in my mid-20s was one of the most difficult. I desperately wanted to move out of NC and to a bigger city, but I knew I would miss my family terribly. But I'm still here and I love living here, and part of my family (My mom plus my sister and her family) moved up here about 15 years ago, so now they're close again!
3 years 3 months out:
B homemade Greek yogurt with half a mango
M coffee with half and half, Miralax protein vanilla latte shake
L cottage cheese and strawberries
As L&f yogurt with high fiber cereal
D. Not sure - but some really dense protein because I'm struggling with late afternoon and/or night eating
