What's on your Wednesday Menu RNY'ers?

I'm sorry that you've been having such a challenging time! I do know that things will improve for you in time. Yes, it's critical that you remain hydrated. I hope that even if your menu repertoire is small, you will find some foods you can tolerate and even enjoy without discomfort or pain. Bit by bit your body will heal - hopefully sooner rather than later - and these early troubles will no longer plague you. Hang in there!

Hello all! Late posting again today.
Peach, how awful, both the shooting and your poor friend's terrible loss. Does she have family in the area? She will need a lot of help. So sorry for her.
Yesterday I was ravenous all day. By 6 pm I had already had all of my normal calories for the day (625 at that point). But I was just so hungry! I wasn't thinking about how good anything would taste, nor fantasizing about specific bits of deliciousness. I was just flat out hungry. Anyway, I tried to keep myself busy and out of trouble, but ended up eating several hundred calories over my norm! I ended up at 1045 calories - the highest ever since surgery. I kept to straight protein, slowly consumed, with attention to not drinking for a half hour or so afterwards. I wasn't craving anything specific, especially not carbs - thank goodness. Wow, was I hungry!
It's been rare, but I have had more than my general allotment of food perhaps four or so times since surgery, each time because of voracious hunger. But last night was the most over the line! Previously when that had happened, despite the additional calories, the scale showed a drop the next morning. This time there was no drop, but honestly I am just glad I didn't gain! I hope that's it on hunger so I can keep on keeping on without crazy struggle, until I hit my goal!
QOTD: I want to take a class now, but need to find a good one, in Adobe Illustrator. I learn more in a online class with interaction and assignments than in just following along with books and online tutorials. I am already fairly adept, but need to keep my skills up. I have taken many not-for-credit and some for-credit art classes, mostly painting and illustration, since college. I also studied for 2.5 years, very very intensively, with one of the top herbalists and ethnobotanists in the country, along with lesser involvement with other instructors. I was studying studying French, first via Rosetta Stone, then with Duolingo, but have not kept up with it since I moved. Time to resume. I would also love to learn Italian and Slovenian.
First: tea tea tea!
B: ham with smoked gouda
L: tuna
D: eggs
S: Greek yogurt
Have a sweet day, my friends!
