What's on your Wednesday Menu RNY'ers?
OMG Peach, your poor friend...that is horrible...what a nightmare. I can't begin to fathom what she is going through right now. just awful!
There was a Therapist in one of our other offices who passed away suddenly Monday afternoon...I did not know him, but many of my co-workers did...the Day before, we had gotten an email that he was taking an unexpected leave of absence, and the next day we got the email he had passed. the entire thing is very strange, there are reporters trying to get information, etc...all we have been told was that he passed suddenly, police are not ruling it as murder, and not to speak to reporters. I hate that I am so curious about such a morbid thing, but all clues point to suicide to me. Even though I did not know him, I feel for his poor family. he had a wife and 2 daughters.
I came home last night to a power outage. It sucked too because we have well water, and somehow our water heater had gotten turned off and the well tank was empty, so we also had no water! We ended up going out for a drive and spent the night in the dark. luckily Story has a cute little battery powered light up stuffed unicorn so we turned it on for her night light...otherwise it is pitch black in our house, we live in an unincorporated area and have no street lights or anything even when the power is ON. Luckily it was back on this morning...although I had to get up 30 mins early this morning to shower since I couldn't do my usual nightly shower.
QOTD: I have a BA in Art Education with emphasis on Painting. I have toyed with the idea of going back to school for other things since I am not currently using my degree for anything...but anything else I am interested in learning about is probably equally useless. I almost started a fashion design certification program a few years ago but once I got married, all my focus was on getting pregnant and once I had Story, I just don't have the time anymore.

QOTD-BA in Accounting and Masters Degree in Business Mgmt. I am a certified Enrolled Agent, licensed by the Department of the Treasury. I actually didn't get my AS degree until I was 40 and then just never stopped. I couldn't do my job now without it. It was the best decision I ever made.

Qotd: No school currently. I attended college long enough to have a PHD. Instead I left with an associate's degree in Animation that will never be used.
Accountability: Very very good. In fact I might reward myself today with some shopping!

Good morning~ I didn't sleep well last night. I kept waking up thinking about silly things I have NO control over. I hate when that happens but thankfully for me it's rare. I would just like to get through the day. I have meetings off site and a few errands which will help the day go by so much faster. I had planned to go to yoga after work, but I just don't see that happening now. It's only 8 am and already my energy is on 'E'.
QOTD - I keep thinking I want to go back to become fluent in French and/or Spanish and for art and music classes. I have no further academic interests at this point. If I were younger or could do it over again? that would be another story but now - nothing but personal interests as far as the eye can see.
