Good morning! I am now a trained mentor for my weight loss center. I enjoyed the training last night, especially meeting the others. It was interesting that out of 7 of us only one was further out than me (3 years vs. my 2.5). The remainder were all about 2 years out.
QOTD (ETA): I'd like to be a single person living alone. I have NEVER been in that position. I had my first child at 17, so went from my mothers home to living with a husband and child. At least one has always been here. And though my children have been relatively independent for a few years, I was already moving into a caretaker role for DH before my youngest finished college. I'd just like to know what it is like to answer to no one but myself (and maybe my dogs).
Accountability: Good though I swapped out my dinner plan and had what was offered at the training. I thought I would have to wait to eat until I was home at 9 pm, but was pleased that they fed us (Bariatric friendly of course). I finally weighed after vacation and was down 1.2 pounds from my weight the morning we left (September 1), so I was happly with that.
2.5 Years post-op (maintaining below goal for 22 months)
Always lots of coffee...
B: eggs, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon
L: Tuna, pickles and cottage cheese
D: fish tacos
S: Nut Thins/hummus and homemade cottage cheese

Good morning ~ Thank you for all the well wishes yesterday! I'm back at work, feeling better, but super tired. After being away from work for a week, I walked into some issues w/in 30 seconds of being here. I didn't even get to say good morning before **** hit the fan... My staff is steering clear of me right now, not my intention, but I never waver on my expectations of everyone whether I am in the office everyday or out for a week. I am respectful, but very direct and not everyone likes that. Otherwise, I am a very nice person, lol.
QOTD - My first thought was to be someone rich, thin, fit and with perfect skin - but honestly, going back to my regular life after that would suck! I think I would choose someone like Mother Teresa - to have nothing but love and faith and give everything of yourself - that would be life changing and I could use that in my regular life.
Accountability - good - lots of fluids, jello, Popsicles and some yogurt
22 mo out - 157.2
b- coffee x3, light and fit greek
l -light and fit greek
d-turkey breast w/spring mix and dab of light mayo
es - popsicles/jello
e-giving my body a break - gentle yoga class tomorrow
Have a great day!

I hope your day gets better! I know that there are days my team must warn each other to steer clear. I lean towards being patient and understanding but when I have had enough you know it. Even the personality profile tests we take in leadership roles points to that for me. I once had a leader at a conference read my report and he said "wow you are very tolerant until you have had enough and then watch out. Whoever gets you to that tipping point is going to pay for it cause you feel like you have given them enough opportunities".

Thank you Kelly! I can just imagine that warning grapevine now...like the scene in Devil Wears Prada when the boss gets there in the morning, haha! If everyone would just do what there are supposed to, there wouldn't be any problems, right?
