Hello menu peeps! Happy Tuesday!

It's 6 am and I have finally had a decent night's sleep - Mia was not especially restless last night, and only woke me twice. Progress!

My rings have all become so lose on my fingers that wearing them on my ring fingers (one on each hand) no longer is secure. I moved them over to my middle fingers a while ago, but that isn't tight enough either. So I bought some ring guards in Amazon. These are tight plastic coils that you cut a length of, then fit over the back of the band. Not particularly comfortable, and they still aren't snug enough, but at least they won't fall off. Both of the rings I'm wearing right now were gifts - one, a beautiful diamond in an antique platinum and gold setting with 16 smaller, twinkling diamonds, was my mom's; the other, another antique, is a lovely and mystical grey star sapphire flanked by glimmering white topaz stones. It was a gift from my son. But all of my rings were gifts, except for a couple. I definitely don't want to lose them! How have you guys solved your ring fitting issues, once you lost weight?

I haven't weighed yet this morning, but my weight dropped both yesterday and the day before, yay, after almost 3 weeks of being basically stalled! As of yesterday I weighed 153.8. I'm closing in on a milestone! Today may be the day!

QOTD: I would like to be a bird, and fly!

First: tea, several mugs!

B: an egg, fluffy and scrambled, with a little dehydrated onion, some fresh-ground black pepper, and Chipotle gouda cheese melted on top!

L: salmon

D: turkey

S: if necessary, some plain nonfat Greek yogurt, with a splash of SF syrup and a few blueberries - or a ham and cheese roll-up.

Enjoy yourselves today, my friends!

I am glad your fur-baby had a better night which of course means you had a better night.

I will attach a picture of my ring. My jeweler added the little bar piece thing when we determined that it could not be sized down any smaller without altering the layout/diamonds on the top. I have had it on there for at least two years now and it does the trick and I can't even feel that it's there.

Thank you, Kelly! I've seen that sort of guard before. I think I will have that done! It's a lot nicer than plastic coils!

I need this as well!! I was waiting to get to goal and maintain a while then have them properly sized. Mine are getting scary loose.

Morning everyone.

It's gloomy out there today...hoping the sun might come out for a bit later on but I guess I won't hold my breath.
I had to go to hobby lobby after work yesterday to pick up some supplies to make a hat for my nephew's halloween costume (my sister is a little busy with the newborn and does not have time for crafts LOL)...I got most of the time consuming part done yesterday but got home later than expected so I didn't cook anything...ended up just eating leftover salmon and cauliflower rice and made a PB sandwich for Story.

QOTD: not sure but its funny I was just thinking about living someone elses lifestyle this morning...I'm sure I would choose someone who is filthy rich but not a celebrity...maybe like an heir/heiress to a fortune of some sort, who doesn't need to work and can spend all day doing whatever they want. It sounds lazy I know, but if you had that sort of financial freedom, you could do ANYTHING with your time...volunteer, write a novel, paint, take lessons/classes...anything! that's the dream.

B: coffee w/sf caramel pumpkin syrup & sf creamer, 1/2 c cottage cheese & HB egg
L: buddig ham packet, light string cheese, nectarine
D: dunno- maybe the shrimp I didn't make last night, or salmon burgers.

have a great day everyone!

Good morning. Accountability was very good, but I did have a piece of dark chocolate last night after my workout. Otherwise - hit my plan. My trainer weighs me every week and I was well down from last week (2 pounds), so I dumped a bunch of water from killing the carbs. Good first step, but no dark chocolate today. I've gone from barely being able to lift one foot off the ground to doing walking lunges with knee up today (not pretty, but was doing it). A couple guys in the locker room complemented me that I've come a long way with my balance in such a short time.

QOTD - Astronaut. The coolest thing I ever got to do was go to Space Camp in Huntsville with a team from work in 1999. Afterwards we had an awards dinner at Lovell's in Lake Forest (yes, Jim Lovell owner - since closed). He happened to be there that day and stopped by to say hello. I was wearing my flight suit and he said it was very close to what they wore. The 5 day experience was so much fun - hard - but fun. I got to be Flight Director and Shuttle Pilot during the various flight simulations. We even designed our own mission patch. My company then had those patches actually made and put many items into a shadow box for us. Still a valued possession.

Pre-Workout 1/3 quest bar and tbs peanut butter

B - 2 hb eggs (only 1 yolk) and chicken sausage

S - 5 oz Fage with no sugar added jelly (tsp)

L - ? Protein and salad I hope (going to an offsite meeting). I have some lunch meet to eat - if it turns out to be a pizza party.

S - the last of the Costco salami cheese packages

D - Small salad and TJ turkey meatballs with a few tbs of spaghetti sauce

HW 510 / SW 424/ GW 175 (stretch goal to get 10 under) / CW 160 (I'm near the charts ideal weight - wonder if I can stay here)
