What's on your Tuesday Menu RNY-ers?
I'll get us started. I was so tired yesterday - it was the Mondiest Monday e-v-e-r!
QOTD: If you could spend your day in someone else's shoes, who would it be and why? It may sound weird but I would like to be in my surgeon's shoes. I am not a medical person (at all) but I would like to know what really happens during surgery, the ins and outs of how the office works, and generally meeting and helping people. But just for one day...
Accountability: I was horrible last night - I snacked on everything in sight!
Almost 9 months out - weight 169
B: overnight oats with a few blueberries
S: PP chocolate shake
L: little quinoa, chicken, lettuce, tomato, onion, sprinkle of cheese & sour cream
D: chicken enchilada soup
Lots of water and vitamins
Have a good day everyone!
You can't measure your achievements with someone else's yardstick!

Morning and thanks for getting us started. How are things going being back at work? It is normal that you would still be extra tired and yesterday was a completely yucky day weather-wise too!
I ended up not swimming yesterday but did an upper body DVD and ran on the treadmill for half an hour. Good workout but I need to get back to the pool more regularly. It would also be really good for DW to go since it isn't as hard on the joints.
I have my 6 month Dexa scan this afternoon. I am curious about what the results will be after 2 months of weight training and whether my body density has improved.
QOTD: good question, but I am blank at the moment. I know alot of jobs and people that I have NO desire to walk in their shoes...no need to be a celebrity that's for sure!
Menu:
B1: Isopure C&C protein shake w/iced coffee
B2: scrambled eggs
S: chomps, almonds
L: chicken breast, salad
S: Buddig's turkey packet
D: leftover Arby's roast beef, baby carrots
Exercise: maybe a kickboxing DVD

Things at school are getting back to normal. I have a large class size this year and it is extra exhausting and the needs range is off the charts. Just going to be one of those years I guess. I haven't been sleeping well and this weather isn't helping. My goal is to go to bed early tonight. Thanks for asking!

hi all
I'm back this week to an off schedule 2 am-10 am so I'm actually in my final hours of the day- yippie!
Once I finish here I'm heading to the gym and then back to bed by 5-6PM.
Fod plan for today:
coffee
coffee
water
prot pancakes
meat packets
not sure on dinner- haven't figured it out yet
Didn't weigh today either due to the strange schedule.
QOTD: I would say I would like to spend the day as someone super fit so I can gauge what that is like activity wise. Maybe someone like the ROCK. I always feel like i could be doing more activity but then there aren't enough hours in the day....
Good morning! I'm still sore from the weekends excursions but I think I might have a light upper body workout at the gym today. I was extra lazy yesterday, which resulted in a lot of extra snacks, and DH brought home some Enlightened ice cream (which does not cause me to dump, I learned). Made me realize that even on my appointed lazy days, I still need do have something physical to DO.
Qotd: my dream job is to be a fiction writer, so I'd love to see what a day looks like for someone who more or less works for themselves and when they want. I imagine you must have to be very motivated without the pressure of a time-card or contracted hours.
Breakfast: coffee w HWC (out of my pumpkin creamer, but not sure I'll buy more. Kind of over it!)
lunch: homemade chicken salad over spinach
dinner: probably leftovers of some kind. I have a few different options in the fridge
focusing on hydration today: I could have done much better over the entire weekend, especially with so much activity outdoors

CW: 243
Surgeon: Dr. Kalyana Nandipati (Omaha, NE)
Good morning, all! up early today. I like my new sleep schedule and it will be even better when I am cleared to go back to the gym.
QOTD: I think I would like to be a sailor. It must be a different world living out on a ship somewhere.
Breakfast: Turkey meatballs
Snack: Cottage cheese
Lunch: Starkist Tuna creations
Snack: Premier, SF pudding
Dinner: Last of the Ricotta bake, green beans
Have a great day all!
